Ch. 69 - Steak
Vali and Miria have just returned from Silver Moon Academy, intending to visit Allen who is currently training under Ray's direction. But when they entered the Rogue Family residence they smelled the smell of food from the kitchen.
“You what is this? Who is cooking? Looks delicious?” Miria asked Vali.
“Ah, this might be Ray cooking something in the kitchen. Why don't we go to him.” Vali takes Miria straight to the kitchen to meet Ray.
Vali and Miria walk into the kitchen following the aroma of Ray's cooking. As the two of them entered the kitchen, Ray was preparing his fifth Steak.
“It turns out to be true Ray, what did you do this time?” Vali approached Ray, he was a little impatient because he knew what Ray was making was Magic Food.
“Oh, are you back? I just made a Steak from Black Bull meat, this should be able to accelerate the regeneration of blood in the body and strengthen the body muscles.” Ray explained casually while continuing his cooking.
“Is this Magic Food? I didn't know there was such a fragrant Magic Food, and it seemed to taste good too.” Miria was quite shocked by the smell of Ray's cooking.
“Miria instead of Magic Food is indeed more delicious than ordinary food?” Vali does not know much about the difference of Magic Food with ordinary food.
“Indeed, but yesterday when I tried Ray's cake it tasted much more delicious than the Magic Food I've tasted.” Miria explained briefly.
“Two of you, stop making out there and help me bring this steak to my room. Allen might be up by now.” Ray interrupted Miria and Vali's conversation, while carrying two steak plates in his hand.
“The first thing that looks like a mockery?!” Vali responded to Ray with a slight annoyance.
“After that, let's help Ray bring this food to his room. This Magic Food might be able to make Allen better after the awakening of his Mana Core.” Miria calmed Vali down and then carried two of the five dishes on the table.
Ray, Vali and Miria return to Ray's room to see Allen's condition. Upon entering the room, Allen had just regained consciousness and was sitting on the bed with the robe that Ray had given him earlier.
“Oh, boy, are you awake? I made you something, eat well. From tomorrow you can start training to improve mana and mana control, but I can't direct you directly because there are things I need to do.” Ray took out a book from his spatial ring and handed it to Allen. “The book contains how to control which one I wrote myself, study it properly and do not learn the combat techniques written in the book without my direction.”
“Thanks, Brother Ray.” Allen was grateful to Ray.
“Hm, now you better eat the steak I just made. Your parts were brought Miria.” Ray closes the conversation with Allen and begins to eat the steak he brought. Miria gave Allen one plate of steak and began to eat the other. While Vali ate the steak he brought from the kitchen.
“Wah, it's delicious..”
“This is really delicious..”
“I don't think there's this magic food..”.
Allen, Vali, and Miria praised the steak
made Ray after feeling it.
“Oh, yes Ray. Did you just say there's something you need to take care of tomorrow? What is it?” Vali asked Ray.
“You forgot? Tomorrow is the Silver Moon Pavilion's annual auction day right?”
