Ch. 152 - Against Blood Qilin III
Ray began to flow mana into his sword, this time he used the second ability of his Void Sword to store magic of various attributes. Now Ray intends to freeze the blood through the slash wound he made. However, if liquid substances such as blood harden through the clotting process, the constituent molecules will also change.
“Now let's see how long you'll be able to regenerate with that ability of yours!” Ray began his assault.
This time Ray uses his Divine Sense to find the position of the blood vessels that transport oxygen and minerals that are needed by living things. Ever since he reincarnated into the Eternal World, Ray had researched a lot about the constitution of living things in this world and found that in addition to their external shape they did not have much difference in the aspects of internal organs and blood vessels. So Ray also concluded the same was true for both the Demonic Beasts and Divine Beasts.
Ray made several incision wounds with his sword and sent cold energy into the blood vessels of the Blood Qilin making his blood flow slow down due to the freezing effect of the cold. Ray continued to attack by targeting the main blood vessels of the Blood Qilin and infusing more ice-butted magic energy into his attack.
Ray's attacks continued to rain down on Blood Qilin's body, while at the same time Blood Qilin had difficulty following Ray's extremely fast movements due to the interference from Little Black. The longer the various incision wounds began to be seen at various locations of the Blood Qilin's body. Ray managed to make the regeneration ability of the Blood Qilin slow down significantly.
“Rooaaarrrr!!!! Bam!!!” Blood Qilin went berserk as it began to feel the effects of the attacks from Ray and Little Black, he roared loudly and stomped his feet on the ground making the ground that was around him tremble violently.
Ray who was unprepared with the sudden movement of the Blood Qilin lost his balance and ended up being hit by a kick from the Blood Qilin making him bounce a few meters away. Ray only stopped flying after crashing into a large tree and toppling it.
“Argh... Damnit damnit! I'm not ready for that..” Ray unhesitatingly took out the highest grade Heal Potion and drank it straight and recovered all the injuries he had.
“Before I had burns all over my body and now my five ribs are broken... Looks like this is my worst day since I came to this world.” Ray muttered in annoyance and rushed back towards the Blood Qilin.
“Absolute Zero.” Ray uses one of the magic in Lost Spell he reads before leaving Silver City.
However, it was different from the magic he had created against both the Hellbound Lava Beast and Absolute Zero recorded in Lost Spell because Ray had combined both concepts of magic usage and increased his magic to new heights.
“This annoying beast makes me use magic that consumes all my mana..” Ray was still running while chugging the highest grade Mana Potion he had brought.
“Now I completely understand why there are so many people who hate dealing with ‘Bos Monster’ which has great endurance and vitality... I'm starting to understand the annoyance of those gamers..” Ray chuckles softly as he remembers the days he spent on earth, especially when a friend forced him to play a game.
Ray regained his focus and telepathically sent a message to Little Black to get away from the Blood Qilin and prepare for a large-scale attack. “Little Black, prepare a large-scale destruction magic to destroy this great bully!”
Then, Ray began to re-flow mana into his Void Sword and insert ice element magic into his sword. Ray attacked the Blood Qilin with a swift and agile movement starting to attack various random positions and inflicting more injuries on the Blood Qilin. Ray could also feel the regeneration ability of the Blood Qilin getting weaker and almost disappearing.
After nearly an hour of continuing the fight Ray almost ran out of all his mana and stamina. Meanwhile a wide variety of incision wounds of various sizes and depths began to be seen within the body of the Blood Qilin which had already lost its blood red color which was now paled due to being covered in ice.
“Little Black! Now!” Ray moved away from the Blood Qilin which was already having trouble moving and ordered Little Black to attack.
“Roooarrr!!!! Baaamm!!!” Little Black roars spewed out a gigantic destruction energy ball that engulfed the Blood Qilin and blasted the area around it.
