Ch. 129 - Final Evaluation
After the game starts in accordance with the aba - Ray, the two teams immediately prepare to attack each other. But what surprised Ray was when James directly ambushed one of the members of Team 2 just seconds after the game began and managed to make him fall unconscious after one punch right hit his neck.
James' direct ambush attack put Team 14 in a more favored position since the start of the game. Because it didn't take long before Team 14 managed to take down all the members of Team 12.
Ray who saw the final match that took place did not match his prediction could only shake his head. “This time James was right – really managed to show about the power of one man who changed the course of the battle.” Mumbled Ray slowly.
“But his talent, ability, vigilance, and intelligence are indeed outstanding. I don't know how he can hide his abilities undetected by me, but this is precisely what makes him even more interesting.” Inner Ray was inwardly at the same time a smile was on his face.
“Good with this evaluation match completed and won by Team 14. I'll give Team 2 fifteen minutes of rest before committing his sentence. And the last one within an hour from now all the teams that made it to the semi-finals will be gathered at this venue. Now everyone can disperse!” Ray gave his direction before disbanding the group of soldiers.
After Ray finished giving directions, all the soldiers began to disperse and find a place to recuperate from the pain and fatigue. For them this was the first time there was an evaluation in such a crazy manner like this, even the Military School graduation test might only be half of the difficulty it was now.
Meanwhile, Ray took out twenty swords from his spatial ring. Among the twenty swords Ray had issued were only five that looked different and had a magic aura in them. But if noticed correctly, all of the swords Ray had just issued were Magic Tools with the lowest being at the Copper Low-Tier and the highest being at the Silver High-Tier.
If the twenty swords Ray issued were grouped according to his level, then there would be ten Copper Low-Tier, five Copper Top-Tier, four Silver Mid-Tier and one Silver High-Tier. Ray had originally only intended to give them the Mid-Tier Silver Magic Tool at most, but seeing James' outstanding performance he had intended to give a better reward than his four comrades.
While Ray sorted out the Magic Tool that he would present to the soldiers, it did not feel that the one hour break had passed and all the soldiers who had made it to the semi-finals had gathered on the stage before used for match evaluation.
The soldiers simply kept silent and did not answer him even though they were upset and persecuted in their hearts. They've learned the lesson themselves, but arguing with Ray will only make them more miserable.
“Well, it doesn't matter if you don't want to answer. And since the evaluation and punishment sessions are over then now we can progress to the reward sessions for the winners.” Ray smiled brightly as he announced his goal.
Meanwhile, the soldiers just fell silent and looked closely at Ray to ascertain whether this was a trap or some other trick Ray had made to torture them. However, after checking for a while they found nothing so one of the soldiers ventured to ask, “Pak, did you just say a reward session?”
“Iya true. Did I not tell you that the one who won the evaluation match will get the prize?” Ray scratched the back of his head with an innocent face.
The soldiers who saw him playing dumb really wanted to jump and punch Ray's shameless face. But in the end they decided to resign and accept because they knew they were no match for Ray at all. However, even though they accepted it they still showed a face full of annoyance to Ray and replied with a loud shout, “NO PAK!!”
“Oh, yes? Sorry I forgot?” Ray was still scratching the back of his head while chuckling.
The soldiers were about to explode from anger but they were finally able to calm themselves down after recalling Ray's incredible strength. “Damn it, this guy really sucks. If not for his strength being too strong we would have defeated him by the amount of.” Inner all the soldiers.
“Because everything has calmed down, let's continue our rewards session.” Ray smiled again and continued his gift session.
