Ch. 178 - The Battle of Asa IV
“Oh, shit!”
James cursed his unlucky fate that was so bad, he did not even have the time to use any of the Recovery Potions he had. As the giant ball of fire approached, James was resigned to his life and would accept his death in his heart while closing his eyes.
“Baaammm!!!” An unusually loud explosive sound rang out and even made the ground tremble violently.
However, James felt a strange thing because his body did not feel any heat or pain at all. James thought maybe he died instantly as the Flame Chimera fireball attack landed on him and suffered a painless death. But everything became clear when he heard a familiar voice in front of him.
“Hai, stupid soldier! Why are you just sitting there and not moving! Are you scared to death!” Ray yells waking James out of his trance.
“Mr Ray! That's you! Looks like I'm safe now!” James opened his eyes to see Ray standing upright in front of him with a giant rectangular shield stuck on the ground in front of him.
“Aren't you still having some Recovery Potions? Why are you stuck in such a miserable state when you get Little Black's help?”
Ray saw the condition of James who was at the tip of the horn, many bones belonging to James were broken and there were even some that were destroyed. Ray also saw all the burns that covered almost the entire body of James and also his armor that had been shattered.
“I do still keep two Recovery Potions but I have absolutely no chance to use them. At first I thought that if we managed to make him angry then his fighting ability would be reduced but now it is the opposite.” James explained his situation.
Ray wanted to say something before the Flame Chimera unleashed a punch towards him, swiftly Ray dodged the blow, then he caught the Flame Chimera arm then threw it away.
“Baamm!!! Bang!!! Bam!!!” The Flame Chimera's body crashed down several tens of meters before stopping as it smashed into the giant tree.
Ray could sense that the Flame Chimera was still fine after being thrown by him. Other than some dirt stuck to it during the collision, the Flame Chimera was completely unharmed from coating its body with hardened scales.
“Flame This Chimera is not an ordinary Emperor Level, she clearly belongs to a unique case! No Flame Chimera could coat its body with scales then harden it!” Ray finally understood why James was in such a terrible condition even after getting Little Black's help.
“James, now can you stand?” Ray approached James to see his condition.
James who had already consumed the Recovery Potion had fully recovered and was able to move around freely. “Can, sir!” James responded in military style.
“Then give the rest of your Recovery Potion to Little Black, then take him to see my other group. I'll handle this big thing alone.” Ray orders James to help Little Black as he battles the Flame Chimera.
“Ready pack!” James immediately ran towards Little Black who was still unable to get out of place.

First of all I want to apologize to the readers who are waiting for the update of this god system, to be honest I feel a bit chaotic for the final two months of 2020. Starting from work that never finished, to some personal problems that add to the burden of my mind.
I was sick in mid-December before being diagnosed with COVID by my doctor. Finally I needed to isolate myself in the hospital for a week before continuing self-isolation for a week. And at that time I could not write at all because my condition was quickly tired and the work piled up.
So I can only apologize for 'disappearing' me for almost a month, but I will try to write normally on schedule again...
