Ch. 39 - Identity Revealed V
Ray enters the medical tent with Olivia, besides Vali and his group there are several other noble family members who are also being treated inside this tent. Ray and Olivia head straight to Vali's place and the group is treated.
Arrive at one corner of the tent where Vali and his group are treated. Ray sees Vali still lying limp while Miria sits next to him, next to Vali's bed, Yuri and Elli lie unconscious on a sizable bed.
“Vali how are you doing?” Ray asks Vali's condition, he feels worried because Vali is overusing Augmentation when his body has not been able to bear it.
“There is no problem, probably will only be bedridden for a month.” Vali replied casually to Ray's worries, he had gotten used to this state of being having experienced it over and over again. Normally Ray would go for Kevin's help to treat Vali, but Vali's injury was now much worse than Vali had ever been before.
“Grandfather Kevin said you need a lot of time to recover completely, if without the help of high-level Heal Potion. But I have one here, drink.” Ray throws a Heal Potion at Vali.
“Hei... This valuable item do not throw it carelessly.” Vali is shocked by Ray's actions, and cannot help but curse.
“The only thing worth is cheap, drink.” Ray simply answered the careless swearing of Vali.
“You're..” Vali suppressed his sense of regret and drank the Heal Potion that Ray had given him. After drinking the Heal Potion Vali felt his body much better, the aches and pains all over his body had already disappeared even though he still felt a bit weak.
“It looks like the effect is much better than I expected.” Ray was somewhat surprised to see Vali's condition, as far as he knew even if Vali drank a high level Heal Potion he would not recover this quickly. “Is it possible that the Heal Potion I got from the system is better than the one Grandpa Kevin used to make?” Inner Ray in his mind.
Sensing his body condition was already much better, Vali stood up and began to move his body. “I didn't think Heal Potion could be this magical, Ray did you get it from stealing Grandpa Kevin's collection?” Vali throws reckless questions.
“Do you think all I know is stealing and troublemaking?” Ray was annoyed by Vali's words.
“Iya.” Vali replied briefly, but his face seemed to have difficulty holding back laughter.
As Ray's hand touched Vali's shoulder feeling as if a boulder was hitting him, he realized Ray was using earth magic to tighten his hand making Vali as if lifting a giant stone. “Hei... Ray can release your hand?” Vali asked slowly to hold Ray's hand weight.
“Oh, why Vali? It's just a hand.” Ray smiled innocently.
“Let go of your fucking hand this heavy!!!” Vali could not bear the weight of Ray's hand immediately shouted.
“Hahaha Ray just laughed as if he had achieved his victory.
As Ray laughed loosely and Vali relaxed his achy shoulders. The two girls who had not spoken looked at the two in curiosity, before Olivia finally remembered Ray's words in front of the tent.
“Ray don't tell me that cousin you call Vali?” Olivia asked Ray as if to confirm something.
“Iya, Vali is my cousin. Sorry I hid my identity, my name is Ray Ainsworth.” Ray introduces himself back to Olivia.
“Who thinks the kingdom's most wanted man is instead roaming the capital.” Olivia muttered softly in surprise.
While Miria who has felt that Vali and Ray have a close relationship or maybe even the family is not too surprised anymore. In addition, Ray introduces himself to his real name, so Miria has almost guessed Ray's identity from the name and behavior shown Vali even though he feels still not sure.
“Then that doesn't mean you are the most talented person in the Silver Moon Kingdom for reaching Emperor Level power level in 16 years of age.” Miria who remembered Ray's battle with the Hellbound Lava Beast, was, in other words, Ray's strength already rivaled that of an Emperor Level and there was only one Emperor Level in the Silver Moon Kingdom right now who was the grandfather of the current king, Rony Von Ainsworth.
“I'm still not that strong, it's just my luck to find my opponent's weak point and attack him with proper magic. Those two things allowed me to fight against an opponent stronger than me, besides I also got help from my contract beast.” Ray explained to Miria, she felt that she did not deserve to be considered to be on the same level as Rony.
