“It's been that long... I didn't even notice it at all...” Julius was shocked to hear Ray. Julius' body instantly lost strength making him kneel with his head bowed, he still felt disbelief in what he saw.
“Grandfather Julius, this is not your fault. That person should have gone out of Silver City secretly sixteen years ago right?” Ray continued his explanation.
“Ray,... You,..” Julius again surprised by Ray's remark, he also learned sixteen years ago before he resigned his post as a King, Mark had once secretly slipped out of Silver City.
At that time Julius thought Mark would try to disturb Chris who was already crowned crown prince at that time. A power struggle within the royal family is common so Julius doesn't think much of it when he learns Mark is secretly going out of Silver City, because after returning to Silver City Mark did not do things that disturbed the stability of the kingdom. While returning to Silver City in addition to confining himself for several months in his residence, Mark did not do anything else suspicious.
“Ray, you mean he was already controlled back then?” Julius began to put all his information together, if it was carefully published it was only then that allowed Mark to be easily attacked and controlled.
“To be exact when he locked himself in his residence, that was when he started being controlled. Besides don't any of you feel weird when that guy rapes my mom?” Ray continued, holding back his anger as he remembered his mother.
“You mean?” julius was confused.
“If you think about it again it seems all your words are true. Mark will not do such reckless and dangerous thing, because he is a very timid person and it makes himself very wary of all the dangers that threaten him.” Chris confirmed Ray's remarks about Mark.
“Which Uncle Chris said was right, a coward is the most vigilant person. People like them can see danger better than most people, and will not do anything harmful to themselves.” Ray chimed in on Chris's words.
“So it's been that long..Even as a father I didn't know that my own son was being controlled.” Julius sighed with sadness and felt he had failed as a father and leader.
“In addition to the problem of the person being controlled there is still another thing that is now more important is about the attack that occurred in Silver City some time ago.” Ray returns the topic in the direction it should have been after Mark's death.
Ray's words made everyone focus back in the direction they should be, the attack that occurred in the Silver Moon Kingdom's capital of Silver City. This attack was also a danger alarm for the Silver Moon Kingdom, as arguably the attack on the capital proved that the Demon Race already had the ability to pierce deep into the Silver Moon Kingdom's territory.
“After what I explained about the teleportation formation that Silver City had set up, everyone in this place should have guessed how they had infiltrated the Silver City. And the formation can be successfully made without the knowledge of others because it has the support of insiders who are none other than Mark. Although I also do not know how many people the Devil Race has planted.” Ray began to explain the origin of the attack.
