Ch. 166 - Fight IV
Little Green's aided Ray quickly killed all of the King Level Demon Beasts he had fought with, and came out with only a few minor injuries.
Right now Ray was facing an Emperor Level Demon Beast that was leading a herd of Demon Beasts and checking his status.

“Although this Flame Wolf Emperor is at the Late Emperor Level but his strength is much weaker than the Blood Qilin I faced before.” Ray clasped his two swords and prepared to attack the Flame Wolf Emperor.
Ray leaped towards the Flame Wolf Emperor and slashed his sword vertically towards the neck of the Flame Wolf Emperor. However, Ray's attack was avoided and only caused a small cut on his stomach.
Ray attacked again and slashed his sword brutally towards the Flame Wolf Emperor, Ray's movements looking random and just spinning like a tornado. Actually Ray still finds it a little difficult to control his attacks using a double sword, and he starts thinking of a green-haired pirate in one of his favorite series.
“I can see that person using three swords like a normal thing, but using two swords alone is already very difficult. Maybe it's talent ‘armor plot’ from the author.” Ray muttered inwardly without realizing he himself was protected by the same ‘armor plot’.
Ray continued to fight with the Flame Wolf Emperor, although the defense and abilities of the Flame Wolf Emperor were not as strong as the Blood Qilin but the speed he possessed far surpassed that of the Blood Qilin and even Ray also had trouble keeping up with the speed of the Flame Wolf Emperor.
“This big wolf's mouth is too fast, I had trouble following him and he managed to withstand all my attacks or dodge it.” Ray cursed in his heart when all his attacks were avoided and only left a few incision wounds.
The Flame Wolf Emperor pounced on Ray, but Ray managed to dodge it and pierced his right eye. “Awwuu.” The Flame Wolf Emperor whimpered in pain as he lost sight of his right eye.
“Now is my chance!” Ray did not throw away the golden opportunity that appeared in front of him, he immediately jumped up and pierced the neck of the Flame Wolf Emperor.
“Awuuu..” Flame Wolf Emperor howled one last time before losing his consciousness for good.
“Ding~~~ Congratulations to the host for successfully killing the Emperor-level Flame Wolf Emperor. Get 125000 Exp.”
“Ding~~~ Welcome host levelled up. Status Point Bonus +5.”
“Ding~~~ Welcome host completes Main Mission [Mystery of the Deathly Forest] Part 1. Will the host receive the reward?”
“This big wolf is really hard to fight, raw strength and speed he is superior to me. But I have a better ability in using my power and maximizing it.” Ray set his breath and looked at the notification from his system.
Ray thought that the Flame Wolf Emperor was indeed very strong and he had only managed to defeat him due to his sword ability and the way he had maximized his strength.
“Receive reward.” Ray detaches from his daydream and receives his reward.
“Ding~~~ Welcome host levelled up. Status Point Bonus +5.”
