Ch. 102 - Two Options (Arc 1 - Done)
“Uncle Chris, I have a proposal for you. Does uncle want to hear it or not?” Ray tried to give Chris some advice.
“Do you have any plans for this matter?” Chris looked at Ray with curiosity.
“Sure, I have a plan for this. Besides, maybe this is not only a disaster but it could also be an opportunity for our kingdom. And of course this plan can only work if Uncle Chris, Grandpa Julius and Grandpa Estas agree.” Ray this time spoke in a serious tone.
Estas could see that this time Ray had no intention of playing him anymore, therefore he became the first to open his voice. “What are your plans boy?”
“Because we lack experts to take care of this matter, then I will give you two options. First I will go to the Demon Forest with Grandpa Estas and some of his elite troops to overcome this problem. The downside of this plan is that Silver City's defensive strength will diminish, and I know that Uncle Chris must have thought of this as a last resort Ray began to explain the first option.
“I've also thought about this option, but I can't send Uncle Estas because it will weaken our defense quite a lot. Then what second option do you have?” Chris understands Ray's plan, but prefers to hear the second option from him.
“The second option is that I will go to the Deathly Forest first to reduce the Demonic Beast Population there. And after two months we can send the students from Silver Moon Academy to help take care of the rest of the Demon Beasts. With this we can deal with the matter of the Demonic Beasts and simultaneously provide real training for the academy students, and the drawback of this option is that it takes a long time and maybe aka tone unexpected things that could have happened.” Ray submits a second option that leaves Chris, Julius, and Estas pensive.
“This option is indeed a good plan and has many advantages but on the other hand it will be very dangerous to send you and the students to deal with this problem. The possibility of a victim may be unavoidable.” Estas put forth her opinion.
“This is a good plan, but sending the kids there.. Isn't it a bit overwhelming?” Julius gave his opinion.
“Grandfather Julius, why do you think the combat power of each generation of Silver Moon Kingdom continues to decline over time?” Ray turned the question around to Julius, and left Julius speechless and pensive.
“That's because they're too protected, to be honest there are a lot of talented young men in the academy but can't bring out all their potential. I'll give you one easy example, Vali's sword skills are actually better than mine, but he can never defeat me in a sword fight. What do you think it's for?” Ray asked Julius who was silent.
“Isn't it clear you're stronger than him?” Julius looked at Ray strangely.
“When I fought a sword in addition to using sword techniques and physical strength, I did not use any magic including body strengthening magic. But Vali still can't beat me.” Ray explained.
“It was due to lack of fighting experience. The same was true for all the students of the academy, they were weaker than they should be due to the lack of fighting experience. So by going to the Deathly Forest and gaining combat experience will make them stronger and better able to maximize their potential.” Ray explained what he meant.
After hearing all of Ray's explanations, the three of them nodded in agreement. Chris, Julius, and Estas understand this but are always hesitant to send them to do real exercises out of fear of fatalities. But in the present condition they have absolutely no choice but to make this choice.
“We agree with the second option from you, Ray.” Julius speaks on behalf of Chris and Estas.
“Then I'll prepare myself and air tomorrow.” Ray saluted then left the palace and prepared to go to the Deathly Forest. In addition to helping his royal problems Ray also intends to make this as a means of training and hunting Exp.
The next day Ray leaves Silver City to embark on his new adventure in the Deathly Forest.

Thank you for all the support from loyal readers. Arc 1, which I plan to finish in April 2020, actually retreated one month because a lot of things happened from September last year until this month of May. And even I had a hiatus of one month from October to November, because of a disaster that made me unable to type for a while because my hand was injured.
This is honestly the longest novel I've written so far, and there are still a few more arcs in my mind that I haven't written yet. I don't know if this article will end until what chapter but I try to make this article will reach the ending.
