Ch. 145 - Night Attack II
James instantly pulled out a sword and slashed at one of the assassins. James's movements were very fast but the assassin also managed to avoid him by a thin margin. James saw his attack fail to immediately launch a streak of attacks that seemed endless. This movement was the thing that Ray taught him by reducing a bit of strength when attacking significantly increasing the attack speed.
Ken himself attacked with a sharp and cunning move. Ken's sword attack aimed at his opponent's vital point perfectly. Every attack Ken made led to the neck and joints of his opponent.
Zack uses a sword 20 centimeters wide and 2 meters long to attack his opponent. Unlike the movements of his two comrades who relied on speed and agility, the attacks from Zack purely used a force that could knock out all his enemies.
Meanwhile, Carrol continued to run around the battlefield to catch the weak points of the assassins his comrades were facing. There was no interesting and striking move that Carrol made, as he would only slit his opponent's neck with a single strike or stab them at their vital point before retreating and returning to keep his distance from his opponent.
James and his partner continuously rained down on his opponent with endless attacks. Each of them has different fighting abilities but complement each other.
In James' group there is absolutely no lack of ability in terms of speed, agility, or strength. It didn't take long for James and his group to exterminate the group of black-clothed and masked assassins.
After making sure all the enemies were defeated, James turned towards Andy who was providing first aid to the wounded soldiers. “Andy, how are they doing?” Ask James.
“Their injuries are very bad, I can only stabilize them and make sure they get through the critical period.” Andy was still focusing his water element healing magic.
“Carrol can you look for clues from enemy corpses? Judging from their characteristics, I suspect that they are from the group of assassins that Mr. Ray.” once talked about Before Ray asks James and his group to patrol, Ray tells him about a group of assassins who might appear.
Carrol unmasked an assassin and looked at the traits of the Half-Demon Race from him. “James, this is indeed as Mr. Ray said, they are half demons.”
“This group may be just a team sent to test the water or maybe even just a weak cleaning team.” James expressed his thoughts.
“I agree with Carrol's opinion, because even though their fighting abilities are quite good and have the ability to dodge most of our attacks. But in their group no one has a strong attacking ability.” Zack raised his opinion.
“If indeed they were just a group of scouts wouldn't that mean aka the tone of the main group that was much stronger than them? Or maybe even with the approximate abilities of this group, then the main group would be dominated by a God Level member maybe even King Level.” Andy who had just finished treating the wounded soldier joined the discussion.
“What? That strong? This will probably be a bad thing.” Ken felt that he would not have time to rest mini mala.
“Better now we go back inside Border Post to get next command.” James took the decision to step down and asked for further direction from Ray or General Ralf.
“Now let's take the wounded soldier and return to the Border Post.” James picked up one of the soldiers and rushed back inside the Border Post.
“Good.” The four members of James's group began to raise one of the soldiers and followed James' direction to return to the Border Post.
