Ch. 195 - Ray Returns II
Ray who left the Death Forest instantly rushed towards the Border Post between the Death Forest and the Silver Moon Kingdom. After all he had already been in the Deathly Forest for an entire month and was worried about the new conditions in the Silver City capital.
“With the intelligence that Uncle Chris and Grandpa Estas have, it should all be according to what I planned instead?” Ray muttered on his way.
“In addition I also left Little Green on Vali, they shouldn't be having any problems now right?” Ray's mind floated and weighed everything that existed.
Without a long time, Ray finally reached the Border Post and instantly widened his Divine Sense to see the conditions inside the Border Post. Ray could see almost nothing had changed in this Border Post, and all the soldiers were still training and patrolling as usual.
A moment later, Ray finds Schnee's place. After finding their location, he immediately rushed to meet them.
Schnee who sensed someone approaching quickly instantly turned wary and picked up the knife she had placed on the table. Schnee intends to attack him directly but his movements have been read by Ray.
Ray immediately clasped his hand and dropped it on the spot. “Oi, Schnee... Isn't your attitude too evil for the person who saved you?” Ray chuckled while pressing Schnee under him.
“Mr Ray?” Schnee who heard Ray's voice instantly calmed down and stopped fighting back.
After a while Schnee's face turned red upon realizing her ambiguous position as it was being pressed under Ray. “It... Mr Ray, can you stand up first? This... this position is a little embarrassing..” Schnee said softly while enduring the embarrassment.
After seeing Schnee's red face and shy voice, Ray finally realized that his position was a little ambiguous. “Sial! In this position, I look like I want to rape her!” Thought Ray before standing up and dispelled his embarrassment.
After he calmed down, Ray asked Schnee. “How is the condition of the border post in this month? Was there an attack from a certain group? Or is there another flood of demonic beasts?”
“There is no such thing.” Schnee who had calmed herself down answered Ray's question after thinking about it for a while.
Because the position of this border post that directly led to the Deathly Forest was the most vulnerable place for the Silver Moon Kingdom other than the southern part that was directly facing the Devil Race.
If that group of nobles became too crazy to tear this place down, the opposition that was originally just a power struggle would turn into a great disaster, because if the border posts in the north and south that each border the Deathly Forest and the Devil Race were destroyed, the one who suffered the most was not only the Silver Moon Kingdom but the entire Human Race.
All of this was because of the Silver Moon Kingdom itself which was in the middle between two human kingdoms namely the Gizakia Kingdom to the northeast and Qin Empire to the west. If something were to happen to the Silver Moon Kingdom it would definitely cause coordination problems between the Human Race as the corresponding passage between east and west was cut off.
“Schnee, please call Syr and James. There's something I want to talk to the three of you about.” Ray gave orders to Schnee.
“Good, sir Ray.” Schnee nodded and walked out of the room.
Shortly after Schnee came out, a Dark Hawk bird entered the room where Ray was. “Oh, any new news coming?” Ray picks up a letter tied at the feet of the Dark Hawk.
After reading it for a while, Ray could finally smile feeling a little calm. “As expected of Uncle Chris and Grandpa Estas, they instantly understood what I meant.”
“But, there is also some rather shocking news. I didn't expect Steve Evans to be hurt by the royals.” Mumbled Ray.
“Although there are some problems that are slightly deviated from the plan. But, almost 90% has been arranged according to the plan I made. Now, let's wait for those nobles to dance even more.” Ray burns the letter he just read and lets the Dark Hawk fly out.
“I still have to collect script and appearance fees, don't I?” Ray chuckled as he thought of his plan.
