Ch. 172 - Start of the Fight
Once they decide on their next plan. James, Ryan, and the other instructors were preparing to make a final fight against the horde of King Level Demon Beasts.
“First let me explain our situation now. Right now we only have eleven King Level people who can fight, I did not include Miss Schnee who is a Healer and also that stupid ‘Gremory’ person who will probably only make our formation chaotic.” James explained their situation and mercilessly insulted Zeoticus at the same time.
“Other acquisition we have is about fifteen King Level Demon Beasts, in other words in terms of the number and level of our strength far below the Demonic Beasts we will be fighting.” James made clear the less favorable situation they were in.
“Therefore me, Ryan, and Little Black will face six King Level Demon Beasts while you can
facing rest. And for the Demon Beasts horde that follows the fifteen King Level Demon Beasts, we will leave it to the disciples and instructors who are below the King Level.” James arranged his plan quickly and divided his enemy according to the limits that everyone could handle.
“James, how likely do you think we're to make it through this?” Ryan opened his voice to ask if they might succeed.
“I can only guarantee 40% chance we will succeed, to be honest even with the help of Black Dragon entrusted Mr. Ray will not be possible more than 50%.” James shook his head slowly as he explained the possibility of their success.
Everyone looked down a little when they heard James' words, they were all ready when they decided to face this but still the reality that James mentioned still made them a little demoralized.
“Alright, everyone. If as James says, we still have a 50% chance of winning with our ability. So all we need to do is fight as best we can and get enough time until reinforcements come.” Ryan calms everyone down.
“Ya, we still have a chance.”
“At least we should try rather than die without a fight.”
The boisterous sounds of each other were heard from the instructors who were about to join the fight, this time Ryan managed to restore some of the spirit that everyone had. As someone who was born into a military family, this time Ryan really showed his ability to lead.
“Alright, let's start.” Ryan started his attack which followed James and Little Black.
The three of them fought and confronted the six King Level Demon Beasts while the others faced the remaining nine King Level Demon Beasts. Ryan charged at a King-level Flame Wolf and intended to finish him off as quickly as possible while James and Little Black held off the other five Demon Beasts.
Ryan used a long sword to slash at a low place, he intended to stop the Flame Wolf's movement and get rid of it as quickly as possible. Ryan managed to stop the movement of the Flame Wolf by injuring its two front legs, without wasting any time he released the next slash to decapitate the Flame Wolf and finish it off.
Ryan directly rushed towards Ryan and Little Black, then slashed the back leg of the King-level Flame Bull before leaping and piercing right at his heart through the Flame Bull's back.
While at the same time James had also managed to decapitate the Flame Phyton after making many injuries throughout the Flame Phyton's body with his swift sword attack. James' swift sword attack managed to pierce Flame Phyton's neck before cutting him from the middle and killing him instantly.
Now there were only three King Level Demon Beasts left that Ryan, James, and Little Black had to deal with. Each of them faced a King-level Demon Beast and tried to kill it as quickly as possible.
The fight was quick enough and took only a few minutes to end. Both Ryan, James, and Little Black managed to finish off their opponents in a few quick moves before the three of them started to split up to help their other comrades.
