Ch. 24 - Yuri Charlton's
Taking the train from the bar to the city center takes fifteen minutes. Ray and Elli spend time in the train with small conversations, sometimes Ray also teases Elli makes the woman upset or tells jokes that make them laugh freely.
After fifteen minutes of travel, Ray and Elli arrive at a large restaurant. The dance venue was White Feathers Restaurant which was none other than the largest restaurant in Silver City.
White Feathers Restaurant has five floors with each floor has a different quality of dishes, the higher the floor the better the dish and the price is also higher.
Ray and Elli get off the train, then walk into White Feathers Restaurant. The two of them went straight up to the fifth floor after showing the invitation to the two people guarding the stairs.
Unwittingly Ray and Elli, they both take center stage as they enter the fifth floor. Ray looks flashy because he uses a mask that covers his face, making Ray look mysterious. On the other hand Elli's charming look averted the gazes of the youths on the fifth floor. They make them the most attention-grabbing couple.
Sensing the envious gaze of the surrounding youth, Ray only smiled faintly. "Look at them all envying me." Ray said to Elli meaningfully.
"Why do they envy you?" Elli didn't catch Ray's point.
"Surely because I walk side by side with a beautiful goddess like you." Ray laughed giggling.
"At least they won't remember me anymore after I change clothes." Grunts Elli.
Ray tripped his leg when he heard Elli's words. "Is this girl insinuating me?" Thought Ray. Indeed, Ray did not expect Elli who is usually a bit rough and tomboy looks so charming when more feminine.
As Ray and Elli talk, a brown haired woman comes to them who is none other than the main character in this party Yuri Charlton.
Yuri's beauty is different from Elli's. If Elli with her style looks like a holy goddess, Yuri looks bolder with tight clothes that show her curves.
Yuri not only has an extraordinary beauty but also a very talented magician. Even if just looking at her magic ability was arguably Yuri was the best in the Silver Moon Academy, the reason Yuri lost to Vali was because besides the magic Vali was also a swordsman and could combine his magic and sword skills well.
"Elli, you're coming to my party." Yuri hugged Elli.
"You're my best friend, too. By the way who's that guy with you?" Yuri has just realized Ray's existence. When he saw Ray he was sure they were the same age as well felt Ray's strength far above his.
"Display my name Ray." Ray bowed politely, but kept wearing his mask.
"Oh, Ray. Why are you wearing a mask?" Tanya Yuri was curious.
"I've got a scar over my eye, so I think it's better to cover it than to ruin your party." Ray answered kindly.
"Injured? Supposedly with magic wounds can be healed without scars, right?"
"Indeed with healing magic almost any wound can be healed without a trace, but also there are still wounds that cannot be healed with healing magic. Like a wound due to a Magic Tool that contains corrosion or is exposed to corrosion magic directly." Ray calmly responded to Yuri's question.
"Because it's rare for people to use such magic, I've forgotten that it exists." Yuri felt a little embarrassed, she questioned Ray because she felt Ray was hiding his identity. But he didn't see Ray like he was trying to cover something up when they both talked.
"No problem, the person next to me doesn't understand what we're talking about either." Ray laughs.
"What do you mean Ray?" Elli raises her eyebrows, while her hand pinches the back of Ray's hand.
"Ouch..." Ray pulls his hand from Elli's pinch. "Other times I'll make a glove-shaped Magic Tool" thought Ray.
While Yuri, Elli, and Ray were talking. The invited guests had already filled the fifth floor of the restaurant, a pair of guests had come to attract the attention of an entire tall red-haired youth and a graceful girl with silver hair.
Ray recognizes the red-haired young man as Vali Rogue's cousin.
