Ch. 198 - Healed Steve Evans
Two days passed since Ray and the others discussed their plans. In accordance with what they have discussed tonight Alex and Schnee will go to the Evans Family home to heal Steve Evans.
However, they did not intend to go through the normal path. Well, Alex and Schnee slipped through the north side of the Evans Family Mansion and entered secretly.
“Mr Alex? Is this what you mean you've planned?” Schnee really didn't know what to say when she learned that the method Ray and Alex intended was to sneak inside.
“So what do you think? Calm down we won't get caught, because I've caught the weak points of all the guards on duty.” Alex said calmly.
“You already know the movement of guards in this Mansion?” Schnee asked confusedly.
“Not completely! But I've arranged better things. You'll understand when we get in.” Alex doesn't answer any more and uses his dark magic to cover up his and Scnhee's existence.
The two of them easily infiltrated into the Evans Family Mansion without anyone noticing. After that they immediately looked for the place where Steve Evans was treated.
Before coming to this Mansion, Alex and Ray had already gathered news and information about the layout of the Evans Family Mansion and found some interesting things. His mission as the head of a noble family, Steve Evans actually has a room to the north of the mansion instead of in the middle like most other noble families.
Because of these conditions and layouts, Ray decides to heal Steve Evans and use him as a backup force on the royal side. Other than because of his position and strength, the other thing was that it was easier to do so.
“Mr Alex, what do you mean?” Schnee asked confusedly.
“Don't think too much, you'll know later.” Alex did not answer Schnee's question and immediately asked her to follow her to Steve Evans' room.
They easily slipped through the balcony and entered the room. Upon entering the room Schnee was surprised that there was already an old woman and man in the room. When he wants to attack, Alex stops him.
“I did not expect to meet Mr Kevin Leonhart and Mrs Emely Leonhart here.” Alex calmly looked at the two people in front of him. However, no one knew what was on his mind.
“It seems, Ray has indeed returned to Silver City. When is he back, Alex?” Kevin asked while holding his daughter who wanted to talk.
“Yes, he has been back since two days ago. Besides, he invited me to play an interesting drama.” Alex answered calmly and a smile on his face.
“You are old but still like to play this thing.” Kevin shook his head while looking at Alex who still maintained the same expression.
As a high-ranking prime minister, Alex decided instead to retire and renounce all the peerages above the Baron. Though with his ability it is very easy to get a better position, but he instead set up an underground organization that is considered inferior by many people.
“Because it's interesting.” Alex replied casually while looking at the expression of his old friend.
“Well, I'm here to accompany the lady next to me to treat that poor man lying on that bed.” Alex saw Kevin frowning before nodding after thinking about it for a while.
“Dad, this..” Emily doesn't understand why her father trusted these two intruders so much.
“Calm, Emily. Since Alex dared to come here after seeing me, it meant that he had no ill intentions at all. At least let him try to cure your husband there will be no harm.” Kevin calms his daughter down, while Schnee has already started moving to heal Steve Evans.
After a while, Steve Evans began to move his finger after being in a coma for almost 2 weeks. Moments later, he opened his eyes and saw a masked woman healing him.
Kevin who saw the healing process was startled for a moment before hiding his shock. He looked at Schnee and watched her carefully before his eyes revealed a great surprise. But in the end Kevin kept what he found and didn't say more.
Alex who saw Kevin's expression constantly changing knew that he found something. “Kevin, that girl is Ray's confidant. So you know what to do.” Said slowly.
Kevin who heard Alex's reminder adjusted his emotions and nodded slowly. He deeply understood what Ray was like, and if anything were to happen to the girl in front of him at this moment. Ray would probably tear his face and fight to the death.
“I just don't know, where did Ray find a great Healer like this.” Kevin shook his head.
“You think I know too? Because this boy often shows the unknown and interesting things like this, I decided to follow him.” Alex smiled a little.
“Well, I won't interfere in your affairs anymore. But if there's anything I need to do just say it, however Ray is still my student's son and you're also my friend.” Added Kevin.
“Sure, old friend. If there's something I won't spare.” Answer Alex concisely.
During their conversation, Schnee continues to heal Steve Evans and eventually Steve opens his eyes and recovers back to his peak condition.
