Ch. 182 - Awakened
"Aaaarrrgggh...." Ray screamed loudly as his consciousness began to be sucked into the black hole.
Ray felt a pain that seemed to tear his body apart and make him shout loudly, the pain continued to radiate throughout his body as he also felt a great power swirling within it.
Ray finally opened his eyes after all the intense pain that tormented his body a while ago, he felt strange when he saw the familiar sight before him.
"Wait, isn't this my tent? How am I supposed to be here?" Ray muttered softly as he looked at himself who had moved into his military tent.
Before Ray could think about his current situation. Ray felt a hug from both sides, now he only realized the existence of Olivia and Elli on both sides.
"This is what's going on?" Ray was confused by the condition he was in now.
"Hiks.. hiks.. You have fainted more than a day after burning in that fire..." Elli still hugs Ray as if she would lose Ray if she let go of him while sobbing.
"True, you've been in a coma for over a day..." Olivia slowly releases her embrace while checking Ray's body condition.
"Are you okay? Did I ask Brother Schnee to check on you?" Olivia asked Ray in a worried tone.
"No need, I'm fine. Actually I feel much stronger than I was before." Ray answers Olivia's question while letting go of Elli's crying embrace.
"Elli, stop crying. I'm fine. Nothing's gonna happen to me..." Ray tried to calm Elli down by wiping away her tears.
"Hmm. Don't do such a stupid thing again..." Elli who had calmed down released her embrace while wiping away the tear marks that ran down her cheeks.
"All right, now where are the others? And can someone get me a mirror, I feel like something's changed in my body." Ray said slowly.
"It... I just realized it now, it looks like your eye color is changing, your skin is getting cleaner, and also your hair looks blacker than before." Olivia, awakened by Ray's words, notices the changes in Ray's body.
Meanwhile, Elli quickly picks up her mirror and gives it to Ray. Elli herself also felt surprised when she saw Ray who looked much more handsome than before.
"This is my mirror." Unconsciously Elli's face began to turn red and she looked away unconsciously while blushing in embarrassment.
Ray did not see Elli's changed expression, he only saw her new figure inside the mirror.
But to Ray's surprise, now his eyes look the same as those of Gild Dragnir. In addition, Ray felt that his vision was much sharper than the previous one and also he felt that his body was much lighter.
"What happened to me? Don't tell me what I've been through before in that white room is real? It's really weird." Inner Ray in the heart.
When Ray was still pensive and thinking about what happened to him and the things he experienced in his subconscious. Some people were beating their tent.
"Ray, are you okay?" Vali who led the group immediately approached Ray and checked his condition.
"I'm fine, nothing bad happens to me." Ray pushes Vali away while saying he is fine.
"Thank God you're okay." Vali sighed in relief when he saw Ray was fine.
"What happens when I'm unconscious?" Ray asked about the situation now.
"No big thing happened, there was only you who was in a coma for more than a day and the attacks of more active demonic beasts on a small scale around the border." William who came with Vali explained the situation that was happening now.
"Thankfully, nothing happened. I was worried considering that the Flame Chimera that should not be in the outer region instead we met there." Ray was relieved when he heard William's words.
"By the way Ray was, since when were you so close to Ellizabeth and Olivia? The two of them have been with you since you fainted yesterday and even got less sleep because they were guarding you." Vali asked with an annoying smile on his face.
Meanwhile both Elli and Olivia began to blush and blush in embarrassment upon hearing Vali's words and nearly submerged their heads into his chest.
