Ch. 9 - The Dark Note
Estas stood up from her seat. He turned his head towards Rony and Julius, seeing them nodding slowly. Estas made her decision.
"Rain Rogue, Vali Rogue"
"Here." Rain and Vali replied.
"The two of you will lead a search team to find Ray Ainsworth and bring her back!" Estas gave her orders.
"Yes, do it." Rain and Vali.
After the order went down, Rony stood up from his chair.
"Today's meeting and trial is over, you can leave the room." Rony's gaze swept across everyone in the hall.
As Rony's voice subsided, the people present within the hall started to come out one by one. Now in the hall were only a few people. But the atmosphere of the hall became more serious.
Rain and Vali who were still inside the hall looked at their grandfather's Estas. The two brothers get a signal from Estas to stay in the hall.
This time Julius stood up from his chair. He looked at Rain and Vali, then opened his voice.
"Rain, Vali, are you sure it's Ray?"
"Yes we're sure, even though he covered some of his face. The blue eyes and the thin scar on his right eyebrow would not be wrong, it looked the same as Ray." Both simultaneously.
On the other hand Estas just sighed, she felt sad to see the condition of her best friend now. But as he recalled Mark's actions, Estas just shook her head slowly.
Mark's actions have touched the reverse scale, and Estas will not calm down before Mark gets the punishment he deserves.
"Dad, Ray may not have wanted to kill Mark. Because after the explosion, Ray no longer showed himself."
Chris who had just been silent opened his voice. Even though he himself hated Mark enough, he still hoped that his youngest brother would change.
After Chris's voice fell the hall turned even quieter. The remaining people just lowered their heads in silence.
" The most important thing now is to find Ray as soon as possible. So we can know what he wants." Rony closed the meeting.

At the same time as the trial in the royal hall, Ray was still wandering around searching for information through the underground world. Ray is now in front of a small bar in the corner of the city. This bar does not look luxurious at all, it can even be said to be a little shabby.
Despite having a shabby look, in front of this bar stood two guards with dangerous auras. Ray paused in front of the bar and let go of his aura, before the two guards nodded and let him in.
Inside the bar was no different from a regular bar. Chairs and tables are arranged like a regular bar, and visitors eat and drink as usual. If you do not pay close attention then this bar will be considered a regular bar. But if you look correctly there are auras of some people with a large level of strength as servants of this bar.
This bar is one of the headquarters of the information broker in Silver City, the Dark Note. These underground organizations are different from other organizations, they are species in information gathering. The Dark Note was one of the strongest organizations in the Silver Moon Kingdom's underground world. Although the Dark Note's combat power was only arguably the top 5 among the underground world's powers, but neither the powers nor the organizations wanted to offend it for fear that their core information was leaked into the hands of its enemies.
