Ch. 131 - Conversation with Ralf
Ralf kept the training methods Ray had provided. “This is really a brilliant method, it seems like the rumor rumors about you forming the strongest underground army in Silver Moon Kingdom is not just a rumor.” Ralf said with a sigh as he recalled one of the rumors spread among the military.
“Rumors are just rumors, but they're not always bullshit. If you want to respond to rumors wisely, just think of them as half truth and half lie. That way you will be able to maintain your vigilance against things that are uncertain but also not dragged into panic because of it.” Ray gave Ralf a suggestion.
“Well, you might be right. But unfortunately not everyone can be level-headed and rational-minded like you in some situations that are detrimental to them.” Ralf sighed and shook his head.
“Haha... You may be right, but aren't you thinking or seeing this from another point of view? For example like, I deliberately spread this rumor around the kingdom so that they pay more attention and beware of me?” Ray chuckled as he replied to Ralf.
“You mean Ray?” Ralf could not understand Ray's intentions.
“What are the most feared people in this world?” Ask Ray briefly.

“Don't tell me, you deliberately made the rumor widespread because you intended to use it to scare the nobles and threaten the people who tricked you?” Ralf asked as he concluded his conjecture.
“That is how, sometimes bluffing also becomes a powerful weapon to keep yourself depending on your ability and how you use it.” Ray replied with a smile.
“You are truly a man of mystery, previously the rumors about you only contained about the Silver Moon Kingdom's strongest genius hidden away. But somehow a few months ago the rumors about you started to change and contained astonishing things.” Ralf shook his head after receiving all the new information and knowledge about Ray.
“Don't think too much about such unimportant things. You yourself can also be said to be an extraordinary person, it is rare for an orphan to come from ordinary people and be one of the best Generals of Silver Moon Kingdom.” Ray smiled as he praised Ralf.
“Yah, maybe... But honestly it seems like the title of genius given to me was no longer worthy after I met you. We are both called geniuses in our generation, but the distance between me and you is like heaven and earth.” Ralf let out a low breath.
“Already, stop thinking about useless things like this. And what about my previous request? Can you set up a place for James and his team to train?” Ray shifted the subject back.
The reason Ralf became a soldier was so that no one would suffer the same fate as him but he also understood that he would not be able to achieve his dreams alone. So when Ralf could get free help from someone with Ray-level abilities, there was no reason to say no to such a trivial request.
“It's nice to talk to an intelligent person, it seems like you also know the reason I'm here to reduce the problem of the more and more Demon Beast waves happening every month, right?” Ray laughed a little.
“Well, I heard from some of my informants in Silver City that His Majesty the King sent someone here as reinforcements but I had absolutely no idea that it would be you.” Ralf smiled and laughed a little.
“I can only reduce the number of Demonic Beasts and train the soldiers, the rest of the other problems you can only think of your own way out.” Ray smiled a little.
“Actually your help is more than enough, besides that I heard that Silver Moon Academy students will undergo training in the Deathly Forest. It should also be included in the ‘ effort reduce the number of’ Demon Beasts, right?” Ralf added.
“You're right.” Ray replied briefly before continuing, “Then I go first, there are still some things I need to clear.” Ray resigned himself to Ralf and then without waiting for Ralf's answer, Ray went straight to Schnee and Syr who were still sitting in the stands.
“Schnee, Syr, let's go. I'll try to check Schnee's condition more thoroughly and try to find out if I can do something to help her.” Ray offered to help.
“Iya, thanks.” Schnee looked down to thank you.
“Thanks Ray.” Sahut Syr thank you.
“No problem, come with me back to my tent.” Ray takes them to his tent so he starts checking on Schnee's condition.
Schnee and Syr follow Ray to his tent after greeting Ralf for resignation.
