Hearing the mission notification, the smile in Ray's mouth grew wider. Ray stood up and held the Venom Sword at his waist.
"Miss Elli, it seems you're still too naive."
As Ray's voice descends a killer comes out of the darkness. Ray shifted his body to the side, and slashed at the assassin with the Venom Sword. The killer managed to avoid a fatal attack, but still had wounds on his hands.
"Good ability, if the one I use is an ordinary sword you will definitely survive."
Hearing Ray's words the killer realized his hand had turned black blue. The poison spread quickly before he could use the antidote.
"One is dead."
Ray immediately ran to the corner of the room, attacking the two people hiding there. One man fails to dodge and is killed in one strike, while his partner manages to evade Ray's attack.
Seeing two of their comrades being killed so easily. The remaining eight people who surrounded Ray came out with weapons in their hands.
"Attack him together, you're no match for him in a one-on-one fight." Shouted Elli reminding her subordinates.
Eight men attacked Ray simultaneously. Ray could only passively dodge while preparing his attack.
Ray poured mana on his Venom Sword until the sword shone purplishly. Ray slashed his sword at the two people in front of him. Receiving Ray's attack, the bodies of the two people instantly stiffened and black blood flowed from their slash wounds.
"Four people."
Ray still had a calm face, as if he was killing a farm animal. Sometimes Ray also felt strange, since he arrived in this world his mindset changed. He no longer cared about the lives of others, as if killing was common to him.
"Dead you!!!" Two men shoot fireballs at Ray.
Ray placed his hand on the floor, drained his mana and formed a wall to shelter.
"Dude...!!!"
Ray raised his sword and charged towards Elli.
"Tring...!!!"
Ray's attack was repelled by Elli. The remaining four men charged towards Ray. The beleaguered Ray in the middle smiled instead, he grabbed the finger of his left hand and slashed it like a sword. A blade of wind shot out from his hand, decapitating his opponent's head.
"Seven people."
Ray flowed mana into the Venom Sword making the sword glow brightly. Using wind magic to speed up his movements. Ray quickly managed to finish off two more people.
"One person left."
Ray attacked the remaining people. Different from the previous nine people, this person was able to withstand several of Ray's attacks.
"Great. I don't think you can still fend it off, given the difference in our strength. But how long did you last?"
Ray shined his sword. But now his body was covered in lightning. Ray has been training his magic control ever since he arrived to this world. As a result he managed to create a lightning armor that increased his strength and speed by twofold.
"Now can you still survive?"
Ray attacked ferociously, his movements were much faster than before. But Ray's attack did not sufficiently inflict serious injury on his opponent. Ray held onto the Venom Sword's hilt as it moved quickly, as his opponent was caught off guard he slashed at it and ended his opponent's life.
"So, now what are you going to do Miss Elli?"
Ray walked towards Elli, his movements suddenly changing rapidly. Ray is immediately behind Elli and holds her.
"I'm sorry for the discomfort."
Ray took Elli out of the room. Ray realizes the strongest person in this bar is not Elli or the ten-man prodigal, but the old bartender he met before.
When Ray came out of the room with Elli. An old voice stopped him.
"Young man, can you let go of my granddaughter?"

*Before I apologize, this novel update will probably be a little erratic until the end of this September.
I'm working on one of the small islands, so it's a bit difficult when you want an update that needs a good connection.
