Ch. 138 - Conversation in the First Horse Car

Some had already passed since Ray had gotten the blood red message from Silver City.

Right now a group of large horse carriages were heading towards the Border Post between the Silver Moon Kingdom and the Deathly Forest. The group contained ten large horse carriages each pulled by four Flame Horses. When viewed from the size of this train is enough to accommodate ten people in it.

This large group was the students of Silver Moon Academy along with the special teachers and members who had come to add to their fighting experience while helping with the matter of the Demon Beast wave which was quite alarming lately.

Inside one of the most luxurious horse carriages running as the leader of the entourage, there were some people talking about some things about the hunting event they were about to go on.

A tall young man with red hair opened the conversation. “Why do you think the government sent us to the Deathly Forest? I just heard that this is Ray's advice to improve our fighting experience and also at the same time help the Demon Beast wave problem lately.”

Meanwhile a silver-haired girl expressed her thoughts. “Maybe because the kingdom lacks people to handle these kinds of things. So since this matter could still be dealt with by sending some people at the King Level and some others at the God Level and below it was enough to take care of this matter.”

“I agree with Olivia.” This time a girl with an appearance similar to the previous silver-haired girl chimed in.

“Yes, I also agree with Miria. Looks like what Olivia said makes a lot of sense.” An adult-looking girl in strict training clothes agreed to the words of Olivia and Miria.

“But, Yuri are you sure it's just that?” The short blonde haired girl felt the reason given earlier still did not explain everything.

“What do you mean, Elli?” Yuri felt strange with Elli's rebuttal.

In the end they decided to prepare for the worst circumstances they might experience while following this hunt. If Ray finds out about Vali, Elli, Miria, and the others at this time, maybe he will get angry and yell. ‘Damn it, am I slick in your eyes!’ or something.

“Ano... Who exactly are you referring to?” A young man with brownish hair with matching eye color with his hair interrupted Elli and the others' conversation.

“Ah, Prince William. Actually the person we were referring to was Ray who had helped during the attack of the Demon Race in the capital and also the same person who had helped to thwart the assassination scheme against Princess Ying Yueru.” Vali told me about Ray.

“Vali, no need to call like that because now we are not in a formal event. Besides, even though I'm a prince I'm still your cousin so there's no need to be too formal when we're talking in private, just call me like when we played as kids.” William was a little less happy when his identity was raised.

“Ha... Alright, Will.” Vali complies with William's request.

“So, is that Ray you're referring to is Cousin Ray?” Ask William to make sure.

“Yes, it's the same Ray.” Vali nodded.

“So it's indeed Cousin Ray.” William is a little surprised by Ray's abilities, though he knows Ray is extremely talented in magic and also possesses extraordinary intelligence. But thwarting the attack of the Devil Race and thwarting the murder of a princess was incredible.

William Von Ainsworth is the only son of Chris Von Ainsworth who is the King of the Silver Moon Kingdom. In other words William was the Crown Prince of the Silver Moon Kingdom.

However, Willian who is a Crown Prince instead has a talent that is fairly mediocre in terms of magic and sword. “You're right.... But Vali, I feel there is something confusing in this hunt.” William recalled about two princesses from the neighboring kingdom who had come to the Silver Moon Kingdom to follow this hunt. “Why did King Gizakia and Emperor Qin send their daughter to follow this hunt?”

“I can't understand that either, but when Grandpa Estas found out about this she just laughed out loud and said Ray would get into trouble and luck due to the arrival of the two princesses.” Vali is also confused by this.

However, when William heard Vali's words about Estas Rogue's reaction immediately made William understand what both the king and the emperor wanted. After thinking about it further William could confirm that his estimate was correct as the one sent to this place was a daughter born from a concubine.

“Hahaha... So it's like that... They actually made quite a bold move.” William suddenly laughs loosely after concluding what happened, he knows their goal is for Ray to become interested in their daughter and get Ray to bond with their kingdom through a marriage relationship with their daughter.

“Did you find something, Will?” Vali asked confusedly seeing William laughing.

“Nothing, I just found something interesting.” William stopped laughing and only showed a suspicious little smile.

“Whatever you think it is, you better forget it or Ray might make you miserable.” Vali reminds William.

“I know my limitations, and also this will probably make it easier for me to get Ray.” support Answer William.

Soon their carriage finally reached their destination, the Border Post between the Silver Moon Kingdom and the Deathly Forest.
