Ch. 165 - Fight III
William and Natasha help Elli and her group to narrow down the movements of the Flame Ape, as a Demon Beast with an affinity for the elements would be extremely difficult to defeat if it had the space to use its magic abilities.
Vali who saw there was a gap in the movement of the Flame Ape instantly slashed his head without hesitation. Seeing his comrade die the remaining Flame Ape went berserk and let out flames all over his body.
“Be careful this beast rampage!” William shouted to warn the others.
Flame Ape attacked like a madman, this time he did not care at all about the injuries he had gotten and only wanted to attract his opponent to die with him.
“Bam!” A punch landed on Vali's body and knocked him several meters away.
“Vali!” Shouts William and his group.
Miria immediately rushed towards Vali to give him healing magic. “Vali, are you okay?” Miria was shocked because other than Vali's outer wound had no other injuries.
“I'm fine, that Flame Ape is only at the God Level and cannot seriously injure me.” Vali pushed Miria and came back to help fight the Flame Ape.
“Lur time for me for a moment, I will augmentation magic now!” Vali began to flow through his body with mana which made his body start to crackle and emit blue lightning.
William and the others nodded and began to keep the Flame Ape from interfering with Vali preparing his abilities.
Vali made his entire body shrouded in lightning elements, at the same time his Venom Sword began to glow with a bluish purple color. “Will, take the others backwards I'll face it myself now!” Vali rushed over and attacked the raging Flame Ape.
Vali faced the Flame Ape one on one and managed to withstand the mad fury strength of the Flame Ape by using his magic augmentation. After coating himself with the lightning element his speed, endurance, and strength Vali became twice as much as before.
Vali continued to attack the Flame Ape and aimed his attack towards the neck and heart of the Flame Ape. Vali was intending to finish off the Flame Ape as quickly as possible.
“Vali!” Miria shouted anxiously when she saw Vali fall unconscious, she immediately approached him and checked his condition. After a while Miria was finally able to feel relieved when she discovered that Vali had only fallen unconscious due to exhaustion and muscle spasms due to excessive weight.
“Miria, how is Vali's condition? Is she okay?” William asked Vali's condition because he also felt anxious.
“He's fine, Prince William. Currently Vali is just experiencing fatigue and regular muscle spasms, he should be able to regain consciousness after a while.” Miria explains Vali's condition and calms the rest of the group.
After knowing Vali's condition was fine, William was finally able to feel calm. Now they can see Ray's battle calmly and dispel Ray's anxiety about their condition.
On the other hand, Ray still continued to pay attention to the condition of Vali and his group. Ever since there was only one Flame Ape left, Ray had directly summoned Little Green to help him deal with five King Level Demon Beasts and one Emperor Level Demon Beast.
“They are safe now, I can focus more on facing this big guy!” Ray muttered softly before returning to attack the group of Devil Binnag.
With the help of Little Green who was holding back many of the Devil Bintanang attacks he was fighting, Ray was finally more free to attack with his double sword technique. Ray uses a circular motion to increase the area and speed of his attacks. After a while Ray managed to kill two King Level Demon Beasts with slashes on their necks.
Ray's attack did not stop and he continued to attack with both swords he held. Because he used two swords in each of his hands made Ray's attacks faster and varied which made the Demonic Beasts he was fighting overwhelmed.
