God System
Ch. 134 - A Week Later I

The Silver Moon Kingdom Border Post and the Deathly Forest.

Ray was sitting quietly in his tent reading some documents and was accompanied by warm tea on his desk.

It's been more than a week since Ray cured Schnee Raizar's curse. Ray gains the full trust of Schnee and her younger brother Syr.

Actually until now Ray still feels a bit awkward when near Schnee, because even though he intended to cure Schnee's illness, he still felt as if he was taking advantage of the Half-Elf girl.

Especially because Ray's treatment method is based on mana control by pulling out the dark energy that is the fuel of the curse itself. In the process it makes the treated patient feel where Ray spread throughout his body.

You could say it was like Schnee felt Ray touch her whole body, and in contrast to the time when she helped Allen absorb the Recovery Potion that made Allen in pain, as Ray healed Schnee and released dark energy, which was very painful, Schnee instead felt more comfortable and as if a warm stream flowed through all parts of her body.

It made Schnee sigh several times which almost made Ray lose control and also became a source of awkwardness between Ray and Schnee. But unlike what Ray expected, the next day after Schnee was healed by Ray. Schnee comes back with Syr and asks Ray to make them both his servants to repay all of Ray's kindness.

From then on the two Half-Elf sisters decided to follow Ray as his servant. But it was different from when Ray saved them both, this time both Schnee and Syr followed Ray wholeheartedly as his servant even though Ray himself had told them there was no need to force themselves like this.

Syr is helping Ray clean his tent and Schnee is standing behind him like a private servant. Actually, Ray feels strange and unfamiliar with all this new stuff.

Even though he was a noble by status, neither he nor the real Ray ever liked these kinds of things and used to do everything independently. Because Ray was used to being independent, when he heard the two Half-Elf sisters wanted to be his personal servants in return it made him feel awkward and uncomfortable.

“Schnee, do you guys really have to do all this? Like I said before I helped you guys just because I wanted to do it, so there's no need to do this kind of thing to return the favor.” Ray sighed for the umpteenth time while again trying to persuade Schnee.

“Mr Ray has helped me cure a disease that has been tormenting me for more than five years. Besides, Mr. Ray is also the one who saved our lives when we were in danger, so it is only natural that we return the favor with all our abilities because we have nothing to repay sir.” Schnee replied in a polite voice.

“Haaah..... Then can you at least speak in your usual tone? Hearing your current style of speech makes me feel awkward, because it's like I'm making you change your way of speaking. And to be honest, I'm more comfortable with your usual way of talking.” Ray let out a long sigh and finally gave up persuading Schnee, after a week without any development in her persuasion of the two Half-Elf sisters.

“But it will be impolite..” Schnee intends to decline before being stopped by Ray.

“At least do that for me... And also let me tell you, too, even when I was in my home and place of origin as a noble there was not a single servant or worker in my place who called me by the name of master or such.” Ray explained while taking a long breath.

“It doesn't mean they don't respect me or anything like that but I myself asked them like that... Of course there was an exception when our house held a noble event because if they called me without honor it would only cause problems for them, but by eliminating that normalized call, it was, I feel closer to the people around me and not alienated.” Ray finished his documents and stood up from his seat.

“Now let's follow me to the main gate, it should be that James and his team have returned from the graduation assignment I gave them. And I need your help to heal their wounds.” Ray asks Schnee to help him deal with James and his team's healing issues, then gets out of his tent.

“Good Ray. I'll do it as best I can.” Schnee nodded and followed Ray out of the tent.

Ray and Schnee are about to walk out of Ray's tent. Syr who had just completed his clean-up task approached them and asked for their purpose. “Sister Schnee, Mr Ray where are you going?”

“Ah, Syr I told you to stop calling me sir. To be honest I even feel awkward with a call like that.” Ray shook his head when he heard Syr's call.

“Sorry Ray.” Syr looked down embarrassed, because he had previously agreed to Ray's request but instead forgot about it.

“Syr, after this I and Ray intend to go to the main gate to wait for James and his team to return from the task given Ray and I go there to help heal if anyone is injured.” Schnee answered Syr's question earlier.

“Then, can I follow you?” Ask Syr.

“You may, I have no problem with that. Better go now and don't waste precious time.” Ray immediately exited the tent after agreeing to Syr's request.

Schnee and Syr looked at each other for a while before nodding and starting to follow Ray out of Ray's tent to head for the main gate of the Border Post.

Note :

Earlier I apologized for not updating for a week. I have had trouble managing time for two weeks because I need to work about 12 hours a day to complete my work project and also I still have to take about 3 hours in the afternoon to follow UAS is online because I am still having an afternoon class lecture for workers.

So you can imagine myself ordaining about 15 hours in accordance with my obligations in this week and at night I was exhausted to write and could not think about what ideas I wanted I wrote and finally I decided to only update if I could.

And maybe this situation will last until the end of July and I will only update when I feel able to set aside time to write, after all the obligation must take precedence over a hobby.

Thank you for following my work so far, do not forget to leave a like or comment that can build my writing.

See you next chapter and have fun...
