God System
Ch. 5 - Special Missions

“Oh, sh*t where did this demonic beast come out from? Isn't it supposed to evolve demon beasts need a place with a lot of mana? Why can this variant come out of this middle of nowhere?” Ray cursed loudly at his misfortune.

The Venom Spider was arguably a demonic beast that could threaten his life. Ordinary Level 9 Demon Beasts had an average status of 90-100, though, and what appeared in front of him was a variant that meant that it was much stronger than ordinary Level 9 in other words it had a status of over 100, which was at the same level as its status.

“Damn it, am I not too unlucky to meet this creature?” Ray cursed in his heart.

Upon seeing the Venom Spider approach him, Ray increased his sense of caution. Ray began to think of a strategy to defeat the demonic beast variant in front of him. Looking at the current state of the variant, Ray understands that the water and lightning attacks used before did not have much effect on him. So he decided to use fire magic as opposed to water.

Ray began to imagine the magic he would use. The use of magic itself depends on the amount of Mana and Imagination of its users. The better the imagination and imagination of the user, the more powerful the magic he uses. As a person already living in two worlds Ray has his own unique understanding and imagination of magic.

Ray began to imagine the process of burning hydrogen and oxygen with fire. Then it starts compressing it, overlaying it again with hydrogen and oxygen and firing it towards the Venom Spider.

Bang!!! Bamm...!!!

The sound of a huge explosion rang out throughout the entire Silver City city. Keep all the city guards on standby, and the slum dwellers run in panic.

"Damn it, am I overreacting?"

Ray just remembered that he was still in the city, and the explosion he made was certain

alert the city guards. Maybe even his father's minions.

"Bzzt.." a green liquid shot out from behind the smoke.

"How is the animal still alive?" Ray avoided the green liquid by jumping to the side.

"Because I've already made such a fuss once, doing it once again won't make any difference." Ray thought to himself.

"If the attack hadn't killed him then I'd have used a bigger one." Ray murmured in his heart.

Ray threw his magic towards the Venom Spider who had difficulty dodging.

Ohhhhh!!!! Baaaam....!!!!

More violent explosions echoed throughout the city. Even the chosen ones are on alert. They think this kind of explosion can only be made by people who are at their level. Without a doubt the city guards and selected people headed to the blast site.

At the same time Ray was still busy with the items he got. A magic sword with a high poison ability, as well as a poison core which was a high quality material.

“Ding~~~ Welcome host levelled up. Status Point Bonus +5.”

“I level up again? it seems to be worth the danger.”

Ray did not fixate too long on his level that rose, instead paying attention to the sword he got. Venom Sword is a sword that has the ability to poison, the more mana that is flowed into the sword the more dangerous the poison is released. In addition, another ability of this sword is able to combine poison with the original magic of its owner.

Ray was still happy with the item he had obtained, without realizing there were many people heading towards him. He only realized when many people had already caught his Divine Sense.

“Sial, it looks like the previous explosion attracted a lot of attention of the guards and selected people in this place.”

Ray hurried to leave his place. He decided to rotate several times, discarding the robe and mask he wore. Euphoria uses water magic to remove odors that may still be stuck to his body.

Ray pretended to run in panic while holding his mana to a minimum. He ran out of the slums and passed the city guards. Ray deliberately avoids the chosen ones who might be able to recognize his power. The city guards that Ray passed by only caught a glimpse of him and ignored him.

After coming out of the slums Ray jumped into the yard of a house, and took a set of clothes and a piece of cloth he used as a scarf covering part of his face and disappeared in the dark of the night.
