Ch. 171 - Urged II
Everyone was speechless with James's sudden movements, they were completely unaware of James's movements from the start he started moving until he unsheathed the sword towards Zeoticus. Everything just happened a matter of seconds greeting, as if a distance of tens of meters meant nothing.
James coldly looked at the Zeoticus soaked in sweat from shivering in fear. In contrast to the moment Ray suppressed him with killing intent, this time a sword was completely unsheathed into Zeoticus' neck.
Zeoticus condemns his own stupidity, previously although he was dissatisfied with Yuri's decision not to summon the Black Dragon that Ray had entrusted to him but at least Zeoticus' security was still maintained. Aside from what James had said, Zeoticus was sure that if he said one more word then his head would drift.
“See how pitiful you are? Do you feel proud of the noble status your family gave you? If it wasn't for you being ‘Gremory’ maybe you'd be dead a long time ago!”
James drew his sword and let out a cold snort, before he had already been given Ray's instructions to watch over Zeoticus so that he would not do anything stupid that harmed the group of students and instructors. Ray had already guessed this selfish and greedy bastard would use every means so that he could survive, even if it was necessary to sacrifice others.
The silent atmosphere continued as James again sheathed his sword, he again walked towards Yuri because apart from keeping the Zeoticus from acting silly. James also orders Ray to look after the students and especially Yuri who is carrying Little Black.
“Nona Yuri, how much left of which do you have? And how long can you hold this space shield?” James decided to interfere in the fight this time around, with his ability at least he was able to withstand a few King Level Demon Beasts.
“Mr James, at least I can hold them for another half an hour. As for the time after that I cannot guarantee it.” Yuri explained the limits of her ability, now she felt regret for not practicing the space shield so earnestly before.
“It should be enough for now, I will get out of your space shield and start attacking them to give you plenty of time to save more mana.” James decided to hold back the horde of King Level Demon Beasts for a while.
“But, Mr James? How can you hold back all those Demon Beasts? You shouldn't be strong enough to face them all, right?” Yuri could see there were over fifteen King Level Demon Beasts, while in their group there were only eleven King Level instructors, after they were reduced to Schnee who was a healer and Zeoticus who was a coward.
“Calm down, Disciple Yuri. Me and the other instructors who can fight will also join in holding back the horde of Demon Beasts.” Ryan Evans who had previously only kept quiet and noticed the situation decided to follow James holding back the horde of Demon Beasts.
“Little girl, who do you think I am? Some of these large beasts were nothing compared to the crazy training that that person gave.” James interrupted Yuri, and as per his words the training Ray had given him was more terrifying than the present situation.
“That guy?” Yuri had no idea who James meant.
“Mr Ray, in his training, he once tied us up and threw us into a horde of Demonic Beasts and made us almost die over and over again. But now that I still have a free body and do the same thing it shouldn't be as difficult as training from that madman.” James slightly trembled and shivered as he returned recalling all the crazy training Ray had given him.
Meanwhile, the, Yuri and Ryan who heard the type of training James had gone through could only be silent as they unconsciously felt their bodies were also slightly goosebumps when they imagined themselves going through that crazy training.
“Alright, I can let you guys do this plan. But I will also ask Little Black to help you guys.” Yuri finally decided to take Little Black out because the situation had already started to be dangerous.
“Agree.” James and Ryan agreed.
