In a medium-sized Mansion in the north corner of the central district of Silver City. Ray was sitting in a room with James, Schnee, Syr, and Alex to talk about something.
“So, son. What do you want to do now?” Alex Windsor asked Ray.
“How do you think parents?” Ray replied with a playful smile.
“Should now you intend to harvest the goods that exist in the underground world right?” Alex smiled cunningly.
“Still not yet, I still need to do one thing before that.” Ray shook his head.
“What is it?” Ask Alex.
“Cure Steve Evans secretly. He should be in treatment now, even if Kevin's grandfather intervenes on his own. So let's heal him first, as backup power insurance.” Ray said his intentions.
Alex thought of Ray's words for a moment before chuckling with a sly face. “You little bastard, don't even let a seriously injured person rest properly.”
“Mr Alex, what do you mean? Didn't Master Ray heal Uncle Steve? Why are you saying he doesn't let injured people rest?” James asked who had been listening.
“Little boy, you're still too soft.” Alex looked at James and shook his head.
Alex pointed at Ray and said. “This boy, wants to have more backup insurance besides his own strength and the three of you. Our opponent is a noble party who knows well the ins and outs of the strength that Silver Moon Kingdom has, so when they come here they must have prepared themselves well.”
“He asked us to heal Steve Evans for wanting to use him as a backup to another power that could wipe out all the power of the nobility. At the same time, he also intends to use the royal guard under the command of Steve Evans to close the way back the noble side.” Alex continues.
James was shocked after hearing Alex's explanation. Then, he looked at Ray who was still sipping his tea casually. “It looks like I'm really not talented at this.” James shook his head.
“Son, listen to what I'm saying. The world is similar to the game of chess and everyone is a pawn in it. People like you are not suited to schemes and conspiracies, like chess pieces other than horses that cannot jump over other pieces.” Alex advises James and takes his tea.
“Dia?” Alex chuckled before continuing. “No pawn can hold it. He was the one who played that chess!”
This answer surprised James, Schnee and Syr. The three of them could see that Alex was a smart and capable person. Alex also looked at the others with slight disdain, they did not expect Ray to still get such high praise from him.
“Then Mr Ray? When are we going to heal Uncle Steve?” James asked after calming down.
“Why are you so nervous? Wait two more days, and then I'll have Alex and Schnee go to the Evans House to heal her and convey my intentions.” Ray replied casually.
“Mr Ray? Is this thing okay? Isn't it better to send James there?” A confused Schnee asked Ray.
“Schnee, you think if I sent James there it would be better right? It would convince them even more if we really wanted to heal Steve Evans?” Ray only smiled as Schnee asked.
Seeing Schnee wanting to get back to talking, Alex interrupted her first. “Little girl, what you said earlier is right and wrong. If you just thought it would be better to send James when you want to heal Steve Evans, wouldn't the family on the side of the nobles think the same?”
Schnee realized her mistake when she heard what Alex said. Then he looked at Ray to receive his confirmation.
“What this old man said is true, if I send James there then our intentions will be too clearly visible. Because James is a debt-ridden man to Steve Evans, but if I send two unrelated men, the royals won't think that we want to heal Steve Evans.” Firm Ray.
“But if they don't even trust us, how can we go in and heal Steve Evans?” Syr asked who had been silent.
“You don't have to worry about this problem, because Alex and I have prepared it. When the time comes to move Schnee just needs to follow Alex's directions.” Ray turned his gaze at Alex when he saw the other party smiling cunningly as if having a certain understanding with him.
After hearing Ray's explanation. James, Schnee, and Syr fell silent on the spot unable to keep up with the pace of Ray and Alex's thinking. When the three of them saw Ray and Alex already had a certain understanding they just shook their heads.
“We really can't keep up with the thinking speed of the two of them.” Think James, Schnee, and Syr at the same time.
