Ch. 169 - Possibilities
“Ahem... by the way Ray after this training is done what do you want to do in the Deathly Forest?” William tried to ease the awkward atmosphere and divert the subject.
“I always felt there was something strange about the Deathly Forest especially for these past few months, besides that I could feel a strong energy coming from the center of the Deathly Forest.” Ray told William what he knew.
“Didn't that sound bad?” William was surprised by the information Ray provided, if there was indeed a great energy affecting the Demonic Beasts then it could mean that the matter of the Deathly Forest was a premeditated matter.
“Why do you think too far Will. To be honest, even though the energy was very large, but I'm sure it only came from a change in natural conditions or something that a very strong person left behind, I don't feel any controlled energy at all in this matter.” Ray explained calmly.
“You mean, there are two things that might happen in the Deathly Forest? First there is a change in natural conditions or treasures that appear and second is a relic of someone who is very strong from the past that appeared after so long?” William summed up a few things from Ray's words.
“Yes, just aka tone those two possibilities. Honestly I can't even think of a third possibility.” Ray actually had a third possibility but this thought was too ridiculous to be possible.
“You mean there is still a third possibility?” William felt Ray was still hiding something about the matter of the Deathly Forest.
“Actually there is still a third possibility, but this still feels ridiculous and unreasonable with the logic of the power that exists now.” Ray is a little surprised by William's ability to read the expressions of others.
“What do you mean?” William asked confusedly.
“Will, what if the peak of power that exists in this world is not an Overlord Level?” Ray expressed his thoughts.
“If it is like that there will definitely be someone who achieved it in the past and left some notes about it.” William replied after thinking for a moment.
“But what if the person who reached that level of strength was someone who lived millions of years ago? Won't the records about them also disappear as time goes by?” Ray refutes William's answer and begins to direct it.
“If it was millions of years ago, surely the records about them have been destroyed and it is no longer possible to trace.” William begins to understand what Ray means.
“It... They could definitely control this level of world power!” William was shocked by the third possibility raised by Ray.
“If it is in accordance with your calculations, maybe the peace that exists now will end soon. Or maybe even this world will also end.” William muttered as his body involuntarily trembled as he thought about the end of the world.
“This is just my hypothesis, if there is indeed someone who managed to reach that level of strength then he should already be quite famous and capable of mastering several kingdoms. But since there is no such incident, then there are only two possibilities if such a person does exist.” Ray paused for a moment thinking about the two possibilities.
“The person is not interested in power struggles or wealth and lives a lifestyle as an ascetic, or maybe that person hides his power to do something big when he comes out of hiding.” Ray was worried about the second possibility he was thinking about.
William and the others who heard Ray's hypothesis about the two possibilities could only fall silent and have no idea what they should do. While at the same time they hope if what appears is someone who lives the life of an ascetic.
“Now let's get rid of all these heavy thoughts and re-assemble with the rest of the group.” Ray woke everyone up from their thoughts and directly directed him to go to the outer region of the Deathly Forest.

First of all, I apologize for not updating for a long time. Lately there have been a lot of changes in my real life that have made me need to solve a lot of problems and reduce my leisure time that I usually share to do my hobby of writing.
Because of one and many things I experienced a lot of ups and downs in this one week that made me a bit chaotic. So again I apologize for the rare updates to my work, but don't worry because I won't drop this work or reboot it.
I still need some time to get my business done in the real world, so please be advised of my dear readers.
