Ch. 161 - Magic Camp and Tent
Meanwhile, Ray and his team, unaware of the events Yuri and his team are experiencing, decide to continue moving northward and get closer to the inner region of the Deathly Forest. For Ray as long as they don't enter the inner region he can handle any problems.
After walking several hundred meters, Ray finally reached the place he wanted to go. A large lake surrounded by a vast grassland with several trees far apart around it.
Since it was getting dark, Ray decided that this place would be their camp for three days undergoing battle trials in this Deathly Forest.
“Friends, we have arrived at a place that we can make a camping place. This area is relatively safe from Demonic Beasts and has sufficient water sources, so we set up a magic tent to camp here.” Ray halted his team's journey and began setting up a formation for protection.

Ray walked to the edge of the lake and drained his mana into a small tent in his palm, before long a tent measuring 10 x 10 meters appeared on the edge of the lake.
The magic tent used has a clean white color that looks different from other magic tents which are usually dark in color. Ray walked about fifty meters from the lake and set up another magic tent of the same size and shape.
Inside the tent has five beds complete with blankets, in addition there is a table with a large mat in the middle. Inside the tent also has several inscriptions that emit light to keep the tent bright, besides that the temperature in the tent can also be regulated by flowing mana in it.
Looking at a magic tent that had a wide variety of extraordinary facilities, both William, Natasha, and the other girls were very surprised by the scene in front of him. Usually the magic tent is just a simple magic tool to set up a tent without the hassle of arranging it one by one, but in the hands of Ray a magic tent can be a portable residence that is quite comfortable.
Vali had known about the magic tent for a long time since he had seen Ray test it in the Rogue Family residence before. At first Vali was also surprised by Ray's magic tent, but after a while he was able to calm down and ask all about this magic tent.
“It's enough, stop praising. You really get annoying when you find out some of the stuff I brought. I shouldn't have tested this thing at home before.” Ray sighed at Vali's annoying behavior for him.
“Hehe... Besides, wouldn't we be calmer at night with this magic tent. Because one of its abilities is a camouflage formation and it also has a protective wall when getting attacks.” Vali said with a small laugh.
“Alright, everything we will cook the Wind Wolf meat we defeated earlier as dinner. And for the duty of vigil will be performed by me, Vali, and William in turn.” Ray replies to the mini mala agenda and begins to prepare his cooking.
Ray cleaned out the Wind Wolf's flesh and then pinched it one finger. After finishing cutting the meat Ray smears it with a mixture of oil, ground chili, pepper, and salt. Ray also added soy sauce made from nuts that he thought was black soybeans.
While Ray prepares the ingredients, Vali and William prepare a place to cook. Vali started the fire after collecting some twigs and dry wood around the lake, and William cleaned the iron slab with four supports Ray had given him earlier. While the girls prepare a dining table, a large mat, and also other eating utensils.
After the fire and grill were ready, Ray immediately applied the oil on the iron plate and then placed the flesh of Wind Wolf that had been seasoned on it. Ray arranged the meat on the grill with the same distance so that the heat spread evenly.
While still a student on Earth, Ray often climbed mountains with his friends. That's why Ray is so used to cooking in the wild like this. It only takes a few minutes of fragrant aroma out of the roasted meat Ray signifies the meat is ripe.
Ray put the meat on each plate and waited a long time, Vali, William, and the others immediately ate the roast with greed. Ray enjoys a quiet night eating roast meat in the moonlight without knowing that tomorrow will be very tiring for him.
