Ch. 109 - Exhausting Night V
The distance of the eastern side of the Deathly Forest and the northern side of the Deathly Forest was approximately three thousand meters. But the distance is very easy to reach Ray in a matter of minutes. Now Ray was on the northern side of the Deathly Forest.
Ray uses his Divine Sense and Analyze to ascertain the number of enemies and their level of strength. After watching for some time, Ray was finally able to ascertain the number of assassins and the level of their respective strength.
“Total there are twenty killers on this north side. With five people at the King Level, seven people at the God Level and the rest below Level 9. Most of the strong killers moving average in groups of two or three people, while those below Level 9 are in two groups of four people each.” Ray managed to ascertain the number and strength of the assassin group.
“First let's finish two groups with powers below Level 9. The first group is within ninety meters north of where I am now.” Ray directly moved northward to deal with the first group.
After moving several tens of meters to the north, Ray could feel the existence of four people below Level 9 better while using Divine Sense. Ray prepared four throwing knives with two throwing knives in each hand.
As before Ray coated his throwing knife with soundproof magic, after making sure the four assassins were not ready Ray immediately attacked with his throwing knife.
‘swish... wish... switzerland... wish...’ four throwing knives managed to pierce the left chest of the four assassins and tear their hearts apart. After making sure the four fallen bodies were lifeless again, Ray ordered Little Black to destroy their corpses.
Ray had just learned of this ability of Little Black's while examining the three King Level corpses that had been hit by Little Black's attack earlier. Ray discovers that his third body is slowly being destroyed and leaves no trace, so he again asks Little Black to use the destruction magic attack back to confirm it.
And Ray was really surprised to learn that the Little Black attack that was heavily bombarded with destruction could obliterate all objects without the rest of whether they were living beings or not. After knowing this of course he would not bother disguising the smell of blood just so as not to attract the attention of the more ferocious Demon Beasts at night.
“The second group is fifty meters east of this place.” Ray moved east after overcoming the first group.
Reusing four throwing knives equipped with soundproof magic, Ray manages to overcome the second group of assassins with no resistance at all. After ordering Little Black to exterminate the bodies of the four assassins. Ray moves to the next group of assassins he manages to detect.
The next group of assassins was about a hundred meters north of the group of four who had just been finished off by Ray. This time Ray decided to use a knife more freely in motion, he held two knives with each hand holding a knife.
Ray used his camouflage and soundproof magic to instantly move towards the north. After moving several tens of meters north Ray could shout two assassins who were approaching towards him.
Ray decides to stop moving and wait for the two assassins within range of his attack. After a while the two assassins were within five meters of him.
‘jleb... slash Ray stabbed the King Level assassin who was to his right and slit the throat of the God Level assassin who was to his left simultaneously made the two assassins fall down without a fight.
“Now there are only six Lord Level people left and four King Level people.” Ray muttered softly.
“Haish... it's really a long and tiring night.” Ray let out a long sigh then took out a Mana Potion and drank it to bring back his mana that was almost drained out again.
