Ch. 142 - Conversation I

“Will, Vali, why are you quiet? Don't tell me you're scared because of my previous pressure?” Ray chuckles seductively at William and Vali.

“Well, to be honest your appearance made me a little surprised. I even had a chance to think are you really the Ray I know?” William laughed when he heard Ray.

It has been almost a year since William met Ray, although they were quite close as children but after growing up they have been less and less talkative and meet because of their different goals and priorities.

William wanted to maintain the stability of the kingdom and ensure the Silver Moon Kingdom did not fall due to the attack of the Devil Race nor the collusion and internal problems of the kingdom. While Ray only wants a good living environment where people are not differentiated based on their status and birth origin, they are judged by their own abilities and efforts.

Ray and William who understand that their two goals cannot have a common ground in the future decide to take their own path for their own dreams. William began to study political science and military strategy because he did not have enough talent to practice magic and combat skills, while Ray studied economics, information gathering, and other sciences, infiltration and also training his magic and fighting abilities.

“Everyone will change as they grow up, aren't you the same? Besides we've been barely in touch for a year.” Ray replied casually.

“Well, it's because you dreamt of something extraordinary. I can't imagine the world of equality that you dream of appearing without bloodshed.” William still thinks Ray's dream is too difficult to achieve and may only lead to future revolts.

“Will, aren't you here because you're in trouble with those corrupt nobles? Otherwise Uncle Chris will not send you to this place and there are also many ways to do the revolution I want.” Ray said firmly as his face turned serious.

“Hai, if only you would join the royal family I think you are more suited to be the next King than I am.” William let out a long sigh when he saw Ray's stern expression.

“Stop this useless talk, shouldn't you start explaining why you're here now? Although I already know your purpose but it is more fun to hear it directly.” Ray diverted the conversation.

“As you have mentioned before, Duke Gremory began to make his move and they were other nobles who were dissatisfied with the royal side. In addition they started to gather troops using your name.” William went straight to the main topic.

Ray who heard William's explanation immediately looked at him strangely. “Will? Did you leave your brain at home? How can you ask such a stupid thing to me?”

“What do you mean Ray?” William's eyebrows wrinkled when he heard Ray's words.

“I mean don't you know that I've humiliated Carl Gremory before? That was also the reason why the old bandot lost control earlier.” Ray explains the sambal pointing at Zeoticus who is still cowering in fear.

“When did you humiliate that arrogant boy?” William was confused by the information he had just received.

“Before I leave for the Forest of Death. Don't tell me you don't know it at all? Don't you have an adequate information network?” Ray felt a little strange when he saw William confused.

“I haven't heard about it at all.” William almost raised his voice.

“Well, then you need to do ‘home’ cleaning first before returning to me to ask for my help. Besides with this info you can make them stop using my name.” Ray gave William advice.

“It looks like what you said is true, I will do it when I return to Silver City.” William nodded.

“Oh, and also Vali. I heard Grandpa Estas approved two princesses to follow this hunt? Don't tell me they want to set me up or something?” Ray turned to Vali who had been silent from the start.

“Ah, the... How I said it... Grandpa just said you could handle it politely and no matter what your decision was he wouldn't complain. Honestly, I don't know what that means..” Vali explains the message Estas gave to Ray in a confused tone.

“Hm..” Vali looked at Ray.

“You need to be more mature and intelligent.” Ray said with a straight and wise face.

“Either why I feel you're spying on me now..” Vali looked back at Ray with furrowed brows.

“Hahaha... Of course not. Oh, by the way where are those two princesses? It should be Ying Yueru instead?” Ray turned the topic back.

“Iya, that's the fourth Princess of Qin Empire, Ying Yueru and also the third Princess of Gizakia Kingdom, Alice Zhirkov.” William answered calmly.

“Two princesses born from concubines yes... Those two sneaky old fellows made a big move just to recruit me? Well, if they already know about the Water Bombs I've re-created..make this thing even more reasonable..” Mumbled Ray slowly.

“How's Ray? What are you going to do now?” Vali asked in curiosity.

“Well, let me meet them first... Honestly I don't really like being close to Ying Yueru because this girl is full of calculations and troublesome schemes, and to Alice Zhirkov myself I don't know her at all other than the information I gathered.” Ray said slowly.

Vali and William, who heard that Ray had known and gathered information about the two princesses, showed shocked expressions.

“Ray, did you know that the two kingdoms would send their daughters?” Ask William to investigate,

“That's just a guess I made of all the information I know, I'm sure this kind of thing will happen after sorting out all the information I know.” Answer Ray calmly.

“Ray, are you really not interested in becoming the King of Silver Moon Kingdom?” William asked, sighing.

“Not interested, but I'm interested in being another king..” Ray said casually.

“What king?” Vali is confused by Ray's words.

“King Harem.. hahaha.” Cocktail Ray laughing.

Meanwhile Vali and William who heard it almost fell because they tripped on their own feet.

Sorry before, because there are still too many jobs and obligations in the real world, I can only update now. I just got back from my work trip.
