Ch. 108 - Exhausting Night IV
Ray returns using his camouflage and soundproof magic. This time he kept on using the Venom Sword, because to deal with a King Level Venom Sword expert that was heavily in poison was more useful than the metal and wind-heavy blade he had used before. Ray slowly approached the three assassins who were still unaware of his existence as well as Little Black who was in their shadows.
“A little more..” Inner Ray in the heart. After the three King Level assassins got closer and closer, Ray finally gave Little Black the order to attack telepathically. “Little Black now..”.
“Rooarr!!” The three King Level assassins were shocked when they saw the black dragon figure spitting out a powerful aura of destruction. Being caught unprepared the three of them could only make a simple magic protector unstable.
“Arrg..” Ray swiftly cut off the heads of the three assassins before they cried out in pain. Of course after all the effort he had spent on killing all the members of this group of assassins on the eastern side secretly, he did not want the assassins from the other two sides to be on the alert because of the final scream at the killer.
“Now that the east side has been cleared, I can move to the other side of the forest to take care of the other assassins. But first I have to go back and make sure Schnee and Syr are safe.” Ray decides to go back first and check on Schnee and Syr.
After running for a while, Ray returns to Schnee and Syr's hideout, heading straight for the bushes where Schnee and Syr are waiting and hiding.
“I fought to protect both of them, but they ran away somewhere. I know we just knew each other and maybe they didn't believe me, but left me like this.” Ray let out a disappointed sigh, in his heart he sincerely wanted to help Schnee and Syr because he knew there would be no sane girl who went to the Deathly Forest if not for being desperate.
“Have it done, even if I'm disappointed there's no point. Besides, since now I've been involved it's better I finish it until the end.” Ray decides to get involved in this until the end.
“Well, if indeed in the end Schnee and Syr also do not thank me also no problem. Since from the very beginning they wanted to kill people in this Deathly Forest, they would definitely also exterminate all eyewitnesses.” Ray also understands his condition now is not the time to think about helping Schnee and Syr or not. Because if Ray still wants to live well, then Ray has to help them both.
“In addition, I can think of this as an exercise. And also killing these killers gives me quite a lot of Exp.” Ray makes up his mind to finish off this group of assassins, this time not to help Schnee and Syr but because he already thinks the killers are nothing more than Exp fields.
“Now more I rush towards the north before the assassins start to gather and it is harder to beat.” Ray re-activated his soundproof and camouflage magic and moved towards the northern side of the Deathly Forest. He also reassembled the throwing knives he had previously used to kill the group of assassins, because even though Ray had forged many throwing knives he had no intention of wasting them.
