Ch. 143 - Conversation II

Not far from where Ray made speeches and warnings to the Silver Moon Academy students. The three girls who had just gotten off their horse carriage were also having a conversation of their own.

“So Alice, why did uncle ask you to keep an eye on him and get to know Ray?” Natasha asked as she got off the train.

“Natasha, you should have entered married age right?” Alice asked Natasha.

“Iya, I've been 16 years this year. So I'm getting married, but dad let me pick my own candidate.” Natasha replied while tilting her head.

“Actually I feel that my father may intend to match me with Ray after knowing all his achievements.” Said Alice.

“Hah?” Natasha was surprised by Alice's reply.

“Why are you surprised? Things like this are common among nobles like us.” Alice smiled in response to Natasha's playful surprise.

“Ta – ta – but..” Natasha was intending to say something but suddenly stuttered and bowed her head.

“Why Natasha? Don't tell me you like Ray so don't want anyone else to marry him?” Alice chuckled as she teased Natasha.

“Eh, really? Finally Natasha the magic crazy likes someone?” Ying Yueru who saw Natasha was embarrassed joined in teasing her.

“Ti – no... A – I don't like it..” Natasha tried to raise her head and replied with a stuttering voice.

“Hee... So Natasha we don't like her, so it doesn't matter if she's married to me.” Alice who saw Natasha's expression again teased him further.

“Yes, yes, count me too. Ray is a strong and intelligent man I have no problem marrying him.” Ying Yueru added fuel to Alice's temptation.

“No! You can't!” Natasha reflexively answered Alice and Ying Yueru's temptation.

“Eh, why not?” Alice laughed in response.

“Ah, I mean.. that.. I don't care if you marry her, hm..” Natasha tried to hold back her embarrassment and snorted towards Alice and Ying Yueru.

“Really?” Alice again teases Natasha.

“True!” Natasha replied with a face still flushed.

“Hehe... It's enough to tease Natasha, we need to do what we need to do.” Ying Yueru interrupted the two sisters to stop their jokes.

Meanwhile while Natasha was being teased by Alice and Ying Yueru they felt an extremely powerful and terrifying suppressive aura. The three girls turned towards the source of the pressure and saw Ray staring at one of the red-haired teachers who was currently sitting down to pee on the ground.

“Aura strong and scary.” Alice muttered, Natasha and Ying Yueru together.

Ying Yueru also started thinking about the events at the auction house and the time she was rescued from the group of masked assassins. Ying Yueru recalled that she had already used Ray to finish off the group that had been chasing her for months.

“Have I offended that time? I hope he doesn't do the same to me.” Ying Yueru's inner heart was because she could feel that the pressure she received was just the rest of the pressure Ray had failed to put on the red-haired master.

Shortly after, Ray finished teaching the red-haired teacher and began a conversation with Ryan Evans about aura control.

Ray then chatted for a while with William and Vali as the teachers began to organize the students according to the plan.

After finishing talking with William and Vali, Ray along with the two and also the two half-elf sisters who followed him silently walked towards Alice, Natasha and Ying Yueru who were conversing. Ray just wanted to ascertain what the other party wanted from him.

“Welcome to this simple Border Post, ladies and gentlemen. And it's an honor to meet you.” Ray greeted politely and respectfully.

Meanwhile, William and Vali who saw him acting polite began to feel goosebumps on their backs. “Sial, Ray is acting very polite and respectful? Will the sun rise from the west? Could there be a meteor falling?” The inner William and Vali in the heart.

Ray himself does not know what his two cousins are thinking, because if he knew Ray might have fallen blood because of it.

“Thank you for your welcome Mr. Ray. Coincidentally we are here to strengthen the bond between the three kingdoms and also as a form of training to add experience for us.” Ying Yueru represented to speak because she was one of the people who had once communicated with Ray.

“If so then let my two servants help bring your goods and also take you to a special magic tent that has been prepared for the Princess all of you.” Ray asks Schnee and Syr who followed him silently from the beginning to escort Alice, Ying Yueru and Natasha to their tent.

“Thanks for the hospitality Mr. Ray.” Ying Yueru and Alice answered politely, meanwhile Natasha looked at him sharply after noticing Schnee and Syr always following her.

“Tno need to hesitate.” Ray asks Schnee and Syr to start carrying Alice's luggage, Ying Yueru and Natasha and take them to their tent.

After seeing Alice's group, Ying Yueru and Natasha left. Ray let out a long sigh while turning to another corner of the Deathly Forest. “Vali, Will, you better not sleep tonight and say the same to the others.” Ray said in a serious tone.

“What do you mean Ray?” Vali asks who doesn't understand Ray's intentions.

“That means there will probably be a drama show that does not wear mini mala.” William with metaphor.

“You two stop playing confusing puzzles.” Vali sighed while shaking his head.

“The bottom line is you just need to remember not to sleep tonight, because there might be guests coming.” Ray smiled before leaving Vali who was still confused.

While William just patted Vali's shoulder before leaving him. “What does that mean?” Vali, still confused, decides to follow Ray's advice not to sleep tonight.

It's been four days that I don't have time to update and I'm sorry for that, since today is the independence day of the Republic of Indonesia I decided to free myself from work for this one day and write this one additional chapter.

Honestly my job is more because one of my colleagues had to undergo isolation because of the positive corona even without symptoms that make our working relationship can only be through online which makes our work less effective i reckon. But hopefully he will recover quickly and I can reduce some of my work.

Maybe enough curses from me, and happy celebrating the independence day of the Republic of Indonesia.
