Ch. 51 - Allen Schtrom
“Ray Ainsworth?!” Mr. Schtrom was shocked to learn of Ray's identity, before his brother who went to the meeting at the palace also said about Ray who had solved the problem of the attack that occurred in Silver City. It's just that he doesn't think that Ray is very young, because before the Ainsworth Family and the Rogue Family hid most of Ray's personal data.
“You really are the one who has already solved the crisis of Silver City?” city Mr. Schtrom is still skeptical of Ray.
“That's not important, now it's better to find a way how to cure your son. According to my examination it looks like his Mana Core has been severely damaged.” Ray ignores Mr. Schtrom's curiosity and directs the topic back to Allen's healing.
“Nak, have you found the problem? You haven't even checked which currents are in his body?” Pythagoras found it strange that Ray could determine Allen's disease so quickly.
“I have a special Skill that can make me know the state of my target completely. Sure includes blood flow and mana flow in his body.” Ray explained briefly.
“You've trained soul consciousness?!” Now Pythagoras again surprised by Ray's ability, because in the Eternal World itself only the great elders of the Elf Race have raised and trained his soul consciousness.
“That's.” Ray answered briefly. While on the other hand he also thought about how to help Allen who was almost beyond help. In the knowledge that Ray had only with the water of life from the tree of life belonging to the Elf Race could heal Allen completely.
But the water of life itself was the most precious treasure of the Elf Race. In addition, the Tree of Life will only condense one drop of living water each year. And to heal Allen would require at least thirty to forty drops of life water. While asking for one drop of living water alone is very difficult let alone asking for thirty more drops, this way is practically impossible to do.
Ray is constantly looking for a solution to cure Allen but still meets a dead end. After searching long enough he could only think of the water of life as the most viable option and with the highest success rate. Ray almost gave up and prepared to tell Allen's condition completely to Olivia and her family, then she remembered that she still had Recovery Potion that could restore the state of the user's body as before.
“System, can Recovery Potion recover Allen condition?” Ray asked for a system.
"Ding~~~ Recovery Potion has the ability to restore Mana Core to its pre-destruction state. However the user would feel tremendous pain upon the Mana Core reshaping."
“H... What percent is the probability of success?” Ray nodded thinking this way was worth a try.
“Ding~~~ Hundred percent success.”
When Ray was deep in thought, Kevin was done healing Allen's condition. Soon after, Allen finally realized. “Finally he passed his critical period.” Kevin sighed from exhaustion.
“What's wrong, it's okay.” Mrs Schtrom hugged Allen who was still bedridden.
Seeing Allen already aware of the Pythagorean advanced to check the condition of the Mana Core and the flow of mana Allen. While checking on Allen's condition, Pythagoras frowned as he sighed softly.
“Mr and Mrs Schtrom your son's condition is very bad. It takes at least thirty drops of life water to cure his condition.” Pythagoras delivered his conclusion.
“It..” Mr. Schtrom was immediately desperate to hear the words of Pythagoras.
Seeing the despair in the faces of all the members of the Schtrom Family including Olivia and Miria. Ray decides to deliver on his plan to cure Allen.
Ray advanced to where Allen was lying, then said the solution he had. “I can cure Allen, but my way will be very painful because this way is not to fix his Mana Core like the water of life does. But the way I will destroy and reshape his Mana Core. Now the decision is with you?”
“Ray this..” Miria hesitated when she heard Ray's words.
“Kak... Miria doesn't need to worry. I know that my condition is almost incurable and with my condition now it is better to try it than not at all.” Allen said softly, before his gaze turned resolute as if fearless.
Seeing Allen's firmness, Ray took out a bright green potion. When Ray took out the Potion, Kevin's eyes widened because he knew what potion was issued by Ray.
“This is Recovery Potion, its ability to reshape the condition of the body and eliminate all existing damage. I'll help you drain mana to absorb it.” Ray handed the Potion to Allen.
Allen got up and changed his body position into a sitting position, then without hesitation drank the potion given by Ray.
“Aaaaarrrrrggghhhhh.......!!!!”
