Ch. 147 - Night Attack IV
Upon hearing the call from Ray, the black bracelet that was Little Black's transformation shook and lit up brightly before turning into a black dragon with a body nearly a hundred meters long and a body width of three meters.
“Rrooaaarrr!!!” Little Black's roar shocked the group of assassins who had come.
“Sial, how could there be a Balck Dragon in this place? What do those stupid informants do!” A killer who was in the front row shouted in annoyance because the information they received was wrong.
“Chairman, we may only be able to change to backup plan.” One of the assassins spoke to the murderer in front of him.
“It seems that it can only be with that plan. After all we may not be able to get away with this..” The assassins called the chief took the decision to change their plans.
“Twenty King Level people followed me to hold them, while the remaining ones performed a blood sacrifice ceremony!” The chief assassin gave the order before starting to attack Ray and his group.
Twenty-one assassins separated into three groups. Nine people were fighting against Little Black who had the advantage due to his size,
The assassin chief and seven others fought against Ray whom they considered the strongest after Black Dragon. While the rest face Ralf who looks as the weakest member in Ray's group.
The nine people who were holding Little Black started attacking in a defensive formation. Three of the attackers used earth element magic to create a stone wall that inhibited Little Black's movements and attacks. Then the other two people each used the space element magic and the darkness element to stop and absorb Little Black's destruction magic. Then the rest of the attackers swarmed Little Black and attacked him from the crevices of his movement.
Ray glanced at Little Black's battle condition and understood that even though Little Black was unable to surpass his opponent at least he could still tie his opponent up well. Meanwhile, when Ray saw Ralf fighting, he was surprised because Ralf was in a slightly advantageous position.
Ralf fought against three King Level assassins. The first assassin was a dagger user who focused on quick attacks and ambushes, but Ralf was still able to handle it despite being preoccupied with the other two assassins who were using swords as their weapons.
Ray himself simply dodged all the attacks from the assassins while observing Little Black and Ralf's fight to ensure their safety. After making sure they are capable enough to survive Ray begins to retaliate against the attack.
Ray took out two short knives from his spatial ring. Both of these short swords look different from the sword usually because the grip of the knife looks like a cathar and also the blade that curves out with a sharp try.
Ray began to counterattack and moved his right hand backwards in a quick motion slitting the neck of the healer behind him. The assassins were surprised to see his partner die in an instant, Ray could see the gap in their formation and with a twisting motion his body managed to slit two adjacent killer necks.
Ray continued to attack quickly and agile, his movements were flexible and agile. Ray continues to move with small jumps to speed up and slow down his movements, while Ray also rotates his body to avoid attacks with a thin margin when his hands also move flexibly when attacking his opponent.
Ray's movements look like a beautiful dance if there's no blood spewing every time he moves his hand. The longer the fight the more attacks Ray managed to land on his opponent and make them fall one by one.
After a few moments of fighting, only the now severely wounded chief assassin was left to face Ray, without wasting any time Ray instantly killed him in a single strike to resolve his pain.
