Ch. 151 - Against Blood Qilin II

Little Black started attacking Blood Qilin with a small-scale destruction magic, he shot out a pitch-black ball of destruction energy towards Blood Qilin to give it a small wound while draining its energy.

Ray understood Little Black's strength well, even though he was now an adult Black Dragon but his strength was still at the King's Level which was simply no match for the Blood Qilin in front of him. So instead of attacking with a big attack that could not kill him, Ray asked Little Black to drain his energy slowly.

“It's my turn to get into action!” Ray started running towards the Blood Qilin, Ray's movements were extremely fast as he added wind element magic and lightning element to increase his body's speed and reflexes.

Ray managed to slash the Blood Qilin several times, leaving a slashed wound that was then covered with the powerful regeneration power of the Blood Qilin. The dozens of incision wounds Ray had made with his sword only lasted for a few seconds before disappearing without a trace with the regeneration power of the Blood Qilin.

“Sial! Terrifying regeneration power! Blood Qilin truly lives up to its reputation as a creature that can barely die!” Ray cursed inwardly as he watched all the wounds from his attack disappear without a trace.

“In addition, Blood Qilin as a Divine Beast definitely did not have the cores as much as a Demon Beast. It becomes more troublesome because of this..” Ray still continued to attack Blood Qilin while thinking of a new plan in his head.

Ray was confident that he would need days to defeat the Blood Qilin with his methods now, however, the magic power possessed by the Divine Beast was terrifying, let alone the Blood Qilin in front of him had already reached the Emperor Level, which made Ray sure his magic power was double that of Little Black.

“Sial! There should be a weakness to his terrible regeneration ability!” Ray cursed inwardly with the unreasonable regeneration ability that the Blood Qilin had in front of him.

Ray's attack continued on and as if unstoppable, every slash he made left a deep incision before disappearing within a few seconds afterwards due to the Blood Qilin's regeneration ability.

“If such continues will only be an endless fight... Comeon! There should be things I can do, I need to remember everything I learned while being a scientist, because the magic in this world is still tied to the cause and effect principle.” Ray kept trying to think of a way to finish off the Blood Qilin.

Ray continued to attack Blood Qilin while thinking about his experience as a scientist in his previous life. As a scientist Ray has studied a wide variety of things from the anatomy of living things to an understanding of the substances and atoms that compose them.

“Stupidly I don't remember such a simple thing.” Ray cursed in his heart as he recalled his research on blood.

Blood itself is a unit of blood plasma or blood serum consisting of 90% water content, 1 % Oxygen for clean blood or carbon dioxide for dirty blood, about 8 % protein content, about, 0.9 % mineral content, and about 0.1 % salt content.

“Blood Qilin should be as the name implies, the main strength of Blood Qilin is its survivability and regeneration ability powered by its incredible blood magic.” Ray began to conclude his hypothesis.

“Because his ability is supported by his regeneration ability and blood magic, then their strength or weakness depends on how I handle their ability to control blood and speed up his regeneration.” Ray continued to piece together his discoveries in his mind.

“Then I should have only removed the characteristics of the blood itself... Minerals and oxygen will be difficult to concentrate in minus temperatures... If I make it like that then it is certain that his blood magic ability will be flashing!” Ray deduced his hypothesis and a wide smile plastered on his face.

“Good! Let's try it!” Ray decided on his plan and prepared to start the second round of his fight with the Blood Qilin.
