Ch. 105 - Exhausting Night I
“Sir Ray said you've been here for some time? What are you doing in the Deathly Forest?” Schnee asks why Ray lives in the Deathly Forest.
“Late now many waves of Demon Beasts are attacking the Silver Moon Kingdom, therefore I am here to reduce the population of Demon Beasts that are beyond tolerance.” Ray explained his purpose of coming to the Deathly Forest without covering it up.
“Then, what do Miss Schnee and Syr do in this place?” Ray asks why Schnee and Syr are in such a dangerous place as the Deathly Forest.
“Hmph...of course we want to men..” Syr almost says the purpose of himself and Schnee, before Schnee stops him.
“We are here looking for some herbs for medicine in the Forest of Death and also as a training experience for us in the future.” Schnee said her goal was to go to the Deathly Forest with half the truth and half a lie.
“It seems they are still hiding something. Well, it's been a natural thing considering we just met.” Inner Ray in the heart. “Then why not just rest here mala mini? The Demon Beasts in the Deathly Forest are getting fiercer at night, so it's not a good thing if you guys are wandering around when it's dark.” Ray offered to help.
“Thank you Mr. Ray. We are greatly helped by your kindness.” Schnee was grateful to represent her sister who still had an upset face.
‘Swish... wish..’ Two arrows shot towards Syr and Schnee from the direction of the forest. Ray who saw the arrow shot towards him instantly threw the air around him into an invisible protector.
‘Ting.. ting..” Both arrows were blown away and stuck to the ground. “None Schnee, Syr. Looks like someone's after both of you.” Ray increased his alertness after seeing the arrow attack.
“Looking at your facial expressions, it looks like they are indeed chasing you. Honestly I don't know where you're from, but to lure out a group of assassins you're definitely not a normal person.” Ray goes on to question Schnee and Syr's true identities.
Schnee and Syr were still silent, from the look on their faces they could not explain their own condition or they did not trust Ray completely.
“Mr Ray, sorry but we can't explain our condition now.” Schnee said as she lowered her head in guilt, because she knew Ray had just saved herself and Syr.
“The number of people who came more and more, especially among them there were already more than ten King Level people. If I just hang in here and wait it will be a loss for me when they get together.” Ray muttered after confirming the condition of his enemy with his Divine Sense and Analyze.
“This is really bad.” Ray took a long breath. “Nona Schnee and Syr, better we keep moving and eliminate enemies one by one.” Ray instructs Schnee and Syr to follow him into the forest.
Schnee and Syr could only nod and follow Ray, because Schnee could sense that Ray was someone very strong and by following him they would have a higher chance of survival.
Ray enters the forest and is followed by Schnee and Syr. “Tonight will be a tiring night.” murmured Ray before entering the forest preparing to face the group of assassins.
