Ch. 14 - Shop System
After Ray leaves the bar. Alex turned his gaze towards his grandson.
"Elli, what did you do to make that little monster angry?"
"Grandfather, I just want to get some information from him. Some time ago there was a huge explosion in Silver City, and all the evidence points to it." Ellie answered a little doubtfully.
"Not only leads to him, I'm sure it's him. After seeing all the power he displayed, let alone him amplifying the soundproof magic within the room without us noticing."
"Wait a minute, she's amplifying grandfather's soundproof magic? Isn't that the magic grandfather created based on our family's ancient book?" Elli looked at her grandfather in disbelief.

"I mean grandfather, he used the same magic as grandfather but with a different kind of imagination?"

After finishing making a deal with the Dark Note. Ray returned to his home to check the rewards he got.
"System how do I open the System Shop?"

"Item Earth? What'sthis?" Ray was surprised to see part of the Shop System.
Ray chose the Earth Item section. All lists of items familiar to Ray appear on the system screen. Some are tools of daily needs, some are ingredients of cooking and fighting also other items.
"What'sthis? A cigarette? Why is it 1 Gold per pack?" Ray raises his eyebrows when he sees the list.
"Ding~~~ because smoking damages health, the system provides a high price for the host to reduce smoking."
Ray choked on his breath when he heard the system explanation. "Is the system insinuating me?" Thought Ray. He used to be an active smoker, and his consumption every day is also quite high.
Ray turned his attention to the Skill section. The Skill section turns out to be a little different, in addition to needing money to buy the Skill but also needing Exp to get it.
"What system if Exp needed less to purchase a Skill?"

"First I need a Skill to earn money. I've mastered the basics of Blacksmithing so it'll be faster to master."
Ray chose Blacksmithing, because although he had knowledge of the Skill but was not sure to master it. And the Skill he bought from the system would only make him understand a Skill instead of mastering it.
After purchasing the Blacksmithing Ray Skill opened its status. Next to Blacksmithing was a 20% figure instead of an Active Skill mark.
"What system does this 20% mean?"
"Ding~~~ means that the host's satisfaction on the Skill is only 20%, and the host needs to use the Skill to upgrade it."
"Then I still need time to master it." Ray muttered softly.
"My system will use the Free Shop Lottery."
