Ch. 99 - Alchemist
A week passed after Little Green hatched, Ray was currently training his Alchemist abilities. “It seems like practicing Alchemy is much harder than Blacksmithing? Or is it because I'm in my life who's never touched things like plants and medicine before?” Ray muttered in his mind, before he remembered anything.
“Ah, didn't I get the ancient Alchemy book from the previous auction?” Ray took out the ancient book he had obtained from the previous auction. Because of all the dangerous situations and busyness that Ray had before, he had not had time to examine the book.
“But this book is written in a language I don't understand.” Ray reads the book but realizes that the language in the book is too ancient. “System can I get an understanding of this language?” Ask Ray on the system.
“Ding~~~ Sure can. Host can buy Universal Language Skill for that.”
“Universal Language? Is there such a skill as well? Then is there a skill like Eidetic Memory?” Ray asked back.
“Ding~~~ Sure exists.”
“Then why not tell me?” Ray felt stupid during this time reading various information over and over again and had difficulty memorizing it.
“Ding~~~ Because the host did not ask.”
“Urgh..” Ray was heartbroken by the system's answer.
“Ding~~~ purchase Universal Language Skill and Eidetic Memory for 100 G successfully..”.
“It's really expensive, but at least I don't have to worry about anything I can't learn.” Ray let out a long sigh, sometimes he thought how easy it was to spend money in this world.
“It is time to study this book..” Ray books the ancient book he holds. In accordance with his expectations, this time Ray can easily read and understand the contents of the book. However, the thing that surprised Ray was the contents in the book that recorded all the experiences of an alchemist expert from thousands of years ago.
“This is really my luck. I didn't expect to find the things I needed in this book.” Ray felt incredibly happy now, because he was frustrated because even though he understood what was needed in the alchemist, he did not understand how to do it at all.
Ray continued his alchemist training by making simple potions such as Health Potion, Mana Potion, and antidote. Ray continues to undergo his Alchemist training, in the rest of his free time every day. Therefore other than attending the academy and arranging some small things in the restaurant, Ray spent all his time practicing alchemists.
Ray's Alchemist training lasted for two whole months, before Ray finally decreed that his alchemist training was enough. In his training this time Ray even managed to rediscover the recipe of some pills and potions that have been lost. In addition, Ray also managed to increase the effects of various kinds of potions and pills that already exist now. With Ray's current Alchemist ability it wouldn't be surprising if he became the best Alchemist in the Silver Moon Kingdom.
“It looks like my training is enough here.” Ray saw various kinds of potions and pills contained on the table in front of him. “I have prepared several Recovery Potions, Body Tempering Pill, Detoxification Pill, and several other potions and pills that I have developed. Now at least the problem of the lack of expert alchemists in the Silver Moon Kingdom could be resolved periodically.” Ray nodded in satisfaction, then entered all his works and prepared to go to the palace.
