Ch. 46 - Revealing Truth IV
“Until now I have only found Mark who has been controlled by them..” Ray postponed his conversation for a while, at the same time he spread out his Divine Sense and made sure no one was being controlled in the hall.
After he finished making sure there were no spies in the hall, Ray continued his explanation. “Luckily no one else is controlled in this hall, at least no one is controlled with controlling insects or behaving suspiciously.”
“I don't know what their goal is, but the target of their attack this time is Mark and Yuri Charlton. First about Mark, they think maybe Mark has no value anymore so they decided to eliminate their tracks. And the disadvantage of controlling insects is that they cannot be removed except by direct contact.” Ray.
“So for that reason they attacked Mark's residence, I don't think they were going to attack Mark. Because I don't think it has any advantage for their side.” Chris accepted Mark's more reasonable explanation.
“In addition to Mark's other attack target is Yuri Charlton who has just been appointed a disciple by Grand Mage Pytagoras. At first I thought that they wanted to use Yuri's death to destroy the relationship between the Witch Temple especially Pythagoras and the Silver Moon Kingdom, but it might not be this simple.” Ray was actually still a bit doubtful about the matter of Yuri being also targeted by the Devil Race.
“Your Highness, Ray, and all the attendees let this old man explain about the state of my disciple Yuri Charlton.” An old man entered the trial hall, this old man was none other than Phytagoras.
“Mr Phytagoras?”
“Salam Grand Mage Phytagoras.”
The entire hall was shocked by the sudden arrival of Pythagoras. But considering that the target of the attack this time was his disciple Yuri Charlton, this made all things plausible.

Each Mana Core beratribut would have tremendous power and they could master magic corresponding to their Mana Core ten times faster than the others.” Ray finally understands the real reason Yuri was targeted.
While hearing Ray's explanation the rest of the room became amazed, arguably the talent with Mana Core beratribut was very rare and those who had it could be sure to become a top-class magician and they were also confirmed to be a Mage.
Yet of all those present Pythagoras was the most shocked. As a Grand Mage he realized how difficult it was to know which element one was from just the aura from which one's body was expelled.
“Son, I still seem to underestimate you a little. Besides your incredible power your understanding of magic is already at the level of Grand Mage.” Pythagoras was amazed by Ray's ability.
