The sun was already slowly moving to the west side when Kinara and Lestari were left alone at home. Papa and Sekala went to the mosque to pray Ashar congregated there, while Mama and her mother Lestari immediately darted out after performing Ashar prayers at home, he said he was going to buy some equipment in preparation to open a laundry business that was planned to be inaugurated next week.
"Sister," Lestari who was originally a drawing gang on the living room table, suddenly shuffled towards Kinara who was sitting on the sofa while watching television and glittering Regal biscuits.
"What?" Kinara turned her head for a while, then looked back at the television screen because the drama series she was watching was displaying an exciting scene.
"So why don't you date Mas Ganteng?"
"Ohuk!" Kinara choked on the crumbs of Regal's biscuits as the plain question slid off Lestari's lips. He coughed, looking for drinking water that he had forgotten to prepare from the beginning.
Still with a cough and nose that began to feel sore, Kinara ran to the kitchen to look for drinking water. Usually he does not like to drink cold water, but because of panic, he just comot bottle of water in the refrigerator and immediately drink from there without bothering to pour the water into the glass.
The cough did not immediately stop after drinking water. It took some time until his cough completely subsided and he could start to catch his breath again. Fortunately, the crack of the biscuit did not enter his respiratory tract. Because if it happens, the consequences can be fatal.
"Well?" shouting a sudden sound, made Kinara jump in shock until the bottle of drinking water she was holding fell onto the floor and instantly the kitchen floor turned muddy.
"Astaghit!!!" his screeches. Between the surprise of the sudden arrival of the voice, and also the surprise because the skin of his feet was splashed with cold water that spilled.
"Jeez, Kin," lamented the voice again.
Kinara turned around, immediately glaring at the figure of Sekala who stood a few steps away from him with an innocent look.
"Mas Kala ngagetin!" exciting Kinara. He felt his heart barely being dislodged, and the already bad breath he set so back was irregular.
"You are daydreaming, I am the same father from earlier said greetings, but you are not nyahut." Back to nagging. "So then why are you staying in Lestari alone in front? What if she was kidnapped?"
"I was sprained, so come here to get a drink." Though upset, Kinara still ends up explaining why she could be in the kitchen, leaving Lestari alone in the living room with the front door wide open. "Somehow, no one will want to kidnap Lestari, she's chatty" she continued, then she passed to the bathroom, to come back shortly afterwards with a mop.
As Kinara leaned the mop onto the dining table and crouched down to pick up the falling water bottle, Sekala walked over and grabbed the mop without Kinara's knowledge.
"Awas, let me be the mop," he said, while pulling slowly Kinara's arm so that the girl immediately stood up and stepped away from the muddy and slippery floor.
"No need, Mas Kala, I spilled the water, so I have to clean it up." Kinara was about to retake the mop from Sekala's hand, but his body ended up dazed when Sekala moved his hand to hide the mop tool behind his body.
As a result, instead of successfully retaking the mop from Sekala's hands, Kinara ended up falling on Sekala's body.
For a few seconds, none of them realized that now their bodies were completely attached, there was absolutely no partition separating them. Until then, when their brains are both back to work normally, they both move backwards.
"Sorry," great-granddaughter Kinara, while Sekala who was equally surprised could only cleared her throat.
"You ... You're following Lestari aja deh, in front." Tell Sekala, with a gaze that fell to the floor, did not dare to face Kinara at all.
"I-iya," Kinara stammered. Then before the atmosphere became even more awkward, he hurriedly walked back to the living room.
Duh, Kinara ... careless to be a person? He nodded to himself as his feet approached Lestari.
Both Kinara and Sekala did not know that when their bodies collided, Papa was on his way to the kitchen, and the man was forced to stop his steps as his eyes caught the scene of an abysmal soap opera right in front of his eyes.
Normally, the man would scatter, hurriedly running around to drag his daughter away from the man who was not his legal partner.
...****************...
Kinara's wish to immediately drive Sekala out of the house after their collision incident was instantly dashed when Papa just lightly told the man to stay until later tonight.
The reason is so that they can pray Maghrib and Isya congregate in the mosque, even though Kinara knows there are other intentions that Papa is trying to hide behind the reason for the prayer. He just doesn't know what Papa's real reason is.
And the last part is, Sekala agrees. The man complied, and immediately agreed to Papa's request without the need for any negotiation scenes or pleasantries to subtly refuse.
I don't know why the connection between two men of different generations can be this close in just a short time.
"If it's Sunday night, there's usually a night market at the crossroads there. You wanna go there?" bargain Papa after returning from the kitchen with a can of shrimp crackers.
Kinara knew exactly the question was not intended for him, but for Sekala who was now cool in teaching Lestari mathematics lessons.
"Night market?" Just stop for a moment from his activities and focus on Papa who is now sitting on the sofa while cool shrimp crackers.
Papa is just a beard because his mouth is full.
At once did not immediately answer, instead glanced towards Kinara who was sitting next to Papa, as if to ask for approval.
But Kinara did not testify, the look on his face was too difficult to read. So, Sekala looked back at Papa then nodded his head.
"May, all with Lestari play," said Sekala, then he turned to Lestari. "Would you like it?" ask the boy.
Offered to the night market, which child would refuse? So Lestari nodded with vigor. His eyes sparkled brightly and his smile rose so wide.
"Okay, we'll be there tonight. I'll treat you as much as you can," followed by smiling, then patting Lestari's head slowly.
"All of you are ajakin my daughter, this. Poor, less entertainment." Papa's chirp suddenly, made Kinara instantly turn her head and glare at him.
Sekala kept her hands away from Lestari's head and returned to paying attention to Kinara. His smile pinched as he found faintly the girl's cheeks met with red.
"Can?" he asked, after looking back at Papa.
"Come, he didn't come home more than ten in the night." Papa gave permission.
"Where, Kin? Wanna?" the question was directed at Kinara, who even though the girl did not say yes, but from the look of her eyes it was clear that there would be no rejection coming out of her lips.
"Okay, we'll be there tonight. Threesome." The final.
"I haven't answered!" kinara's exclamation he ignored, and he again coolly searched the row of numbers written in Lestari's book.
Again, this strange gelenyar popped into his chest, making his smile no longer bearable and he let it unfold as it was.
