Kinara could only silently listen to every explanation that came out of Atha's lips. While Dahayu was busy crying from the first time Atha opened her mouth to begin her explanation until now they have been at the end of the story.
Too many things were the hero in Kinara's head now, making it too difficult to determine which one she used to have to further process in her brain.
About Atha who accidentally met Dahayu when they turned out to be both on vacation in Jogja, Kinara could understand. Indeed, the world was narrow, so such a coincidence could have happened.
But, until the part when Atha decided to accompany Dahayu drinking in the hotel room, Kinara could no longer find any plausible reason why the man did so.
Didn't they date in the first place, Kinara said that she doesn't like men who smoke and drink alcohol? So had Atha not touched those two things just to be accepted by him, and the young man was secretly friends with the two things he hated the most?
"I'm sorry, Ra."
Kinara looked at her own hand which was now tightly grasped by Dahayu. The girl gathered in front of him, shedding a cry that would at some point subside in her lap.
"Gue no. I don't want this to happen either. I .." Dahayu's sentence continues to be interrupted because the more and more the sob.
To be honest, Kinara did not know what to react to now. He was sad, angry, upset and disappointed. But, because the feeling was too mixed up in her heart, Kinara could not even decide which feelings she should first validate.
Did he have to first vent his angry emotions by shouting in front of Dahayu and Atha's faces in turn? Or should he first let out his sadness by starting to shed tears?
But the thing was, whether he had to be angry or cry, there was nothing he could do. As hard as trying to put first which feelings she should manifest in the form of action, Kinara still found herself only speechless without being able to do anything about it.
"It's all my fault, Ra. I should have refrained from touching that drink."
Now, Kinara looked up. He found Atha who stood looming before him looking down while looking at him. Kinara knew, the man was sorry. He knew Atha had never intended to intentionally injure his heart in this manner. It's just that the reason 'accidentally because of drunkenness' that Atha and Dahayu threw still can not bring proclamation from him.
The point now is that they have an **** relationship out of wedlock, and Dahayu is pregnant with Atha's child. After all, the boy was innocent. The fetus that is living in the stomach of Dahayu can not end miserably by bearing the actions of his father and mother. Atha and Dahayu must take responsibility for what they have done, even if they argue that it was an unintentional mistake.
So, after filling his lung cavity with a large supply of oxygen, Kinara slowly released his hand from Dahayu's grasp.
"Don't apologize to me" he said, with a straight look to Dahayu's bead.
"I'm sorry for the child in your stomach, because you thought about throwing him away and taking his life before he was even born into the world." After saying that, Kinara got up. He did not pay attention to Dahayu who came back crying so badly.
Kinara walked up to Atha, looking at the young man with a heart that began to ache.
"As of today, there is no longer any connection between Kinara Adorelia and Atharya Danapati. They both officially broke up." Kinara said, with a bitterness that began to fill her chest.
"I don't want to, Ra. I love you. I need you. I-"
"The child in Dahayu's stomach needs you more." Sela Kinara fast. Then, he forced his hand from Atha's grasp.
After taking a quick glance at Dahayu who fell on the floor with a cry that never subsided, Kinara looked back at Atha with eyes that began to water.
"You broke my heart, Tha. Do not let you also break the heart of Dahayu and the child in her stomach, who can not even choose to live in whose womb."
Being aware that her mood was starting to feel uneasy, and her body was starting to react to the sadness that filled her chest, Kinara decided to waltz away from there. Because at least, if he had to cry or scream, he didn't want to do it here. He did not want to look pitiful in front of the two people he thought, would be the last person who had the possibility to hurt his heart.
Kinara's steps swung wide, completely ignoring the cries of Atha who was calling out her name.
After several meters of walking away from Atha's classroom, Kinara even dragged her feet to run despite the heavy feeling, as if her legs had been chain-mounted and given a load of thousands of tons.
It was still raining, though not as hard as before. The umbrella that Andanu lent him was no longer in his hands, left behind in the classroom and he did not even have time to think about that thing.
So, Kinara recklessly broke through the rain. Ignoring the gazes cast by some of the students in the Atha faculty who still seemed to be wandering in the corridor while waiting for the rain to subside.
Along with the rain water that began to drench his entire body, Kinara's tears began to fall. After holding her back, the girl finally vented all her sadness into the form of tears rushing like a faulty water tap.
The further her legs ran, Kinara felt her breathing grow stingy. Because he was tired, also because his crying was becoming more and more.
Until when he finally arrived in front of the university gate, Kinara's steps came to a halt. All of a sudden, he felt his legs limp and his body instantly fall down on the ground.
Kinara cried out profusely, patting her chest repeatedly, hoping that it could help her relieve the tightness. But nil, there, the tightness is increasingly agonizing.
I don't know how long Kinara let herself cry under the rain. Until suddenly, he felt his body no longer exposed to raindrops.
At first Kinara thought the rain had subsided, but when she raised her head, she found a young man standing before her holding an umbrella. The young man allowed himself to get wet, just to make sure Kinara's body was no longer exposed to rainwater.
"Gue is a comfortable place to cry, you want to go there?"
Hearing that, Kinara's cries did not subside but instead became more and more so. His shoulders trembled violently, making Andanu who was still letting himself get wet could only sigh many times.
