The After The Rain

The After The Rain
Everything That I Do, Reminds Me Of You

Shower already, change clothes already, put food into the mouth as well already. Now, Kinara felt that his condition was much better than before. He was very grateful to Andanu who was willing to accommodate him here, even though before this they had never engaged in any conversation even though they were always in the same class.

"Andanu," call Kinara slowly.

Andanu who was focused on staring at the television screen turned to the side, to the figure of Kinara sitting on the same sofa as himself, it was just that the girl was sitting far away at the left end while she was sitting at the other end.

"Still," Kinara said softly.

"Together." Andanu answered briefly, then re-dedicated his focus to the television screen.

"Thank you, Ma'am." Kinara said, this time addressed to Astari who had been sitting on the single sofa without saying anything.

"Not to be confused." Astari answered with a soothing smile.

"Well, you have to go home." Sela Andanu suddenly.

Being told so, Kinara reflexively raised her gaze to look at the clock hanging on the wall of the living room. It turned out to be half ten nights. Not felt, time quickly passed when all he did since the afternoon was cry and wail.

"If you don't want to tell me where your house is for fear that I will mess around, you can contact your family let them pick you up here."

"I'll take a taxi." Said Kinara, feeling bad because it has been a lot of trouble Andanu.

If Andanu had not had time to make eye contact with Astari and the woman gave him the code to keep delivering Kinara, he might have immediately nodded his head and helped Kinara find a taxi.

"Just like Andanu." Sela Astari, because Andanu is slow and does not speak anymore.

"Even if he looks a little scary, but Andanu's a good boy really." Astari said again, making Andanu secretly grunt because indirectly, his sister had insulted him.

Kinara chuckled softly at Astari's words. In fact, viewed from any point of view, Andanu does not look creepy at all. He was just not okay if he had to ask Andanu to take him home when the young man had been kind enough to accommodate himself here.

"It's okay, Ma'am. I took a taxi." Kinara.

Actually, Astari felt a sense of constriction. He ignin forced Kinara to accept Andanu's offer to set him back home. But because Andanu said they were not close, Astari undoes the intention for fear that Kinara will feel uncomfortable.

"Well, if you want to." Astari.

"Sana, Nu, you anterin Kinara ahead." His orders to Andanu.

The ordered one did not answer, but got up from the sofa and walked first towards the exit.

"I say yes, Ma'am. Thanks again." Kinara said for the last time before catching up with Andanu who was already waiting in the doorway.

"Be careful on the road. If you need help, do not hesitate to find Andanu. You're one of the majors, so there's no harm in helping each other." Astari said as she rubbed Kinara's arm slowly.

Kinara just smiled, then actually stepped up after Andanu and they walked along out of the house, to a place where there was usually a taxi passing by.

These nights, it's usually a little difficult to find a taxi. But tonight, it looks like Kinara is lucky that she hasn't even waited five minutes, a blue taxi appears and Andanu immediately stops the taxi for her.

"Please get this kid home safely." Andanu said as he held out a hundred thousand dollars as much as two pieces to a uniformed taxi driver who was only in his thirties.

The driver nodded with a smile. The money that Andanu offered was immediately taken and saved. "Please, Mas. Her boyfriend is safe with me." Said the driver with a smile that seemed to have another meaning.

Instead of responding to the talk of the driver, Andanu instead took out a cellphone from his pants pocket and immediately photographed the taxi driver's face. Not until there, he also moved to the front of the car and photographed the license plate of the car then returned to the side and opened the door for Kinara.

"Why are you taking pictures?" ask Kinara confused.

"For safety reason. If you're suddenly kidnapped, at least I know who did it and how many license plates." Andanu tried to answer as briefly as possible.

The driver who heard Andanu's words was just a nod of his head and then smiled understandably. The present era of malice is indeed more and more and more diverse mode, it is only natural that the young man was cautious.

Then, no more conversations. Andanu immediately closed the door after Kinara sat down and the driver stepped on the accelerator, carrying the taxi through the darkness of the night.

In the first few minutes since the taxi began to pass on the highway, Kinara was silent. He leaned his head against the window as he looked at whatever he had encountered during the trip.

But unfortunately, all the things he met actually reminded him of Atha many times more than before.

The street lights that seemed to be waving at him reminded him of the moment when he and Atha had to speed on the motorbike that Atha was riding so that they would not be late home and break the curfew which Papa has applied.

The little park they passed after fifteen minutes down the street reminded him of his habit and Atha to sit alone in the middle of the park when the afternoon came, just to tease a child who is not under the supervision of his parents. And when the children cried, Atha would bribe them by turning over chocolate-flavored ice cream.

The tall buildings that they passed after reminded Kinara of the nonsense that Atha always told her, that the young man would buy a special tall building to celebrate their graduation later. Even though he knew it was impossible because Atha said he would buy it with his own money, Kinara still agreed with Atha's booty and they would end up laughing together.

As all the things she encountered along the way only kept reminding her of Atha, Kinara decided to take her eyes off. Now she looked down, and not long after, her tears came back, quickly caving the river on her cold cheeks. His shoulders shook violently, his breathing again felt tight and he had to try hard to hold the so that the taxi driver who was driving the vehicle was not disturbed by his focus.

Though secretly, the driver was already paying attention to every move Kinara. The man quietly grimaced as he remembered his daughter at home who was only four years old.
