Noon, no matter what satanic tambet, Papa was suddenly diligent to help Mama plant some new types of flowers to display on the front porch.
With short sleeves rolled up to reveal a few strands of armpit hair sticking out because it has not been shaved, Papa raised the pot that has been planted with flowers and began to arrange it on the terrace, following how many other flowers have already become residents.
While Mama, still cool playing ground, shovel the soil from a small sack and put it in a pot that has been filled with flowers. After the pot was filled with soil and the roots of the flowers were no longer visible, Mama passed the pot to Papa to be laid out again.
Kinara himself just sat quietly on the terrace chair, looks like a disobedient child who just silently watched his parents work hard while he just sits on foot barges while chewing Regal biscuits with innocent looks.
Not that she did not want to help, but Mama had warned herself not to interfere in the business of planting flowers. Because the last time he did, the soil that should have been put in the pot ended up hitting his eyes and the agenda of planting flowers became messy because he was cool to scream about his twinkling eyes.
"What's short, like Kinara?" papa chirps while pointing at reddish-colored Geranium flowers.
Kinara who was about to feed the biscuits into his mouth suddenly stopped moving, squealing dislike towards Papa who was even whiny.
"No shaming flowers." Answer Mama.
When Kinara thought Mama would tell Papa not to say it was short, she said not to do flower shaming. Wow, that's totally beyond belief. Since when did his family suddenly become a family joke like this?
"But, though short, she is the most beautiful." Papa glanced at Kinara. While the glimpsed just grunt and continue the activity of eating biscuits.
Mama didn't say it and just shook her head slowly. The activity of planting flowers is finished, it is time they wash their hands and immediately enter the house because the weather is getting hotter.
Mama pulled Papa's arm slowly, led her husband to the tap of water in the side yard, helped him wash his hands cleanly and then they walked together into the house, without taking Kinara.
"I'm sorry, Father, Mother, the child is missing!" kinara shouted to Papa and Mama who had disappeared behind the door, completely ignoring her screams.
Because his existence was not considered, Kinara decided to stay on the terrace while spending the biscuits that he had already held.
While chewing, Kinara glanced at the pot containing the Geranium that Papa had talked about. Then suddenly he became upset. His eyes squealed in dislike towards the innocent flower, smiling mockingly as he said, "Because you're short, I'm getting body shaming."
While the innocent flower can only be silent in its place. Perhaps, if the flower could talk, he would yell back to Kinara and say that he also did not want to be equated with the girl.
The biscuits in hand had run out, Kinara planned to go inside the house because she was fed up with the existence of Geranium flowers as if he kept staring at her. But, just as he had raised his butt and was about to step inside, he was forced to stop as a voice called out his name in a joyful cheerful tone.
When Kinara turned his head, he found Lestari running towards him while carrying a black crackle. Her ponytailed hair was seen waving to the right and to the left along with the small footsteps of the owner.
"Sister Kinara, I have snacks, will you?" said Lestari while lifting the crackle in his hand until the face is parallel.
"What snacks?" Kinara asked back, walking closer to Lestari who stopped in front of the terrace.
"much. Bought the same mother." Said Lestari with a fluffy smile.
"Now. We eat at my house, or yours?"
"Your house. There's no one at home, Mom's gone."
"okay! Let's go!" Kinara immediately grabbed Lestari's hand, clasped it tightly and walked into the house.
...****************...
Kinara just found out that looking at someone who was asleep turned out to be this fun.
For almost an hour and a half he stayed on the bed, accompanying Lestari who fell asleep after fatigue playing.
Mama and Papa are out and Lestari's mother hasn't returned from her business, so Kinara is happy to have Lestari here because they can accompany each other.
"Such a temp, anyway." Gumam Kinara while poking gaunty nose pointed Lestari.
As a result of his movements, Lestari squirmed slowly. Her little hand moved rubbing the nose that Kinara had just madelek.
Seeing Lestari move in her sleep made Kinara panic a little. But then he could sigh in relief as Lestari fell asleep again after rubbing her nose. The girl just changed her sleeping position which was originally on her back to tilt towards Kinara.
As Kinara came back almost immersed in her activities looking at the sleeping Lestari, she heard a knock coming from the front door. Not just a knock, he also heard someone calling his name several times.
One more knock was heard before Kinara opened the door. And when the door opened, he found Sinta standing with a serious look on her face.
"The celestial's here?" tanyakanya.
"Yes, Mother. Sleeping his son again."
Hearing that answer, Sinta heaved a sigh of relief. His originally tense and serious face slowly turned more relaxed.
"Thank God, I think he's playing where." Sinta said with relief that was completely audible from her tone.
"So I got a job to wash rubbing in the next complex, but Lestari did not want to come, so I told her to stay at home while eating snacks that I had bought. When I got home, my son wasn't there." Lestari tried to explain to Kinara the reason why she came with such a panicked face.
Kinara understood, so she just smiled and then invited Sinta to enter the house.
"What do you want to drink?" haggard Kinara after allowing the woman to sit on the sofa.
"No, Nara. I'm just here to confirm Lestari's whereabouts." Answer Sinta.
But Kinara couldn't possibly have expected his guest to end up silent without any treats. So, he immediately darted into the kitchen and returned shortly afterwards while carrying some drinks in packs and mineral water and then presented them to Sinta.
"Because Mbak didn't tell me what to drink, I brought everything. Please choose what you want." Kinara said with a smile.
Despite his hesitation, Sinta still grabbed a bottle of medium-sized mineral water to appreciate Kinara's efforts. Then, he took a small sip of the water and placed it back on the table.
"Thank you, Nara." Her speech.
"No problem, Ma'am." Reply Kinara. "Oh, yes. Since Lestari is still sleeping, Ma'am can wait for her here until her son wakes up."
"I'll take it home, Nara. It's late afternoon, I'm afraid you'll rest too."
"Don't, Ma. Poor Lestari, then wake up. I also did not say anything, all waiting for Mama and Papa to come home too."
"So mommy's gone again?" ask Sinta.
Kinara nodded. "I told you to go for a walk together, let's be like a young man again." He said it ended with a rarity.
Sinta followed smiling. Then when he was about to reopen his mouth, a hoarse-sounding voice flew through the air, making him and Kinara turn their heads in unison.
On the doorstep of Kinara's room, Lestari stood up while rubbing her eyes. The boy's lips seemed to mutter muttering something that wasn't very clear.
Sinta immediately got up from the sofa and slightly ran over to Lestari. Although the child's body is no longer small, but Sinta can still lift it into a sling without any difficulty at all.
"Have you come home?" tanya Lestari who was still rubbing her eyes, was somewhat half conscious.
"Yes, I'll come straight to you. We're going home now, yeah." Said Lestari with a soft motherly voice.
Lestari just nodded. Then, she poked her little hand against her neck as she began walking back towards the front door.
"Nara, I brought Lestari home, yeah. Thanks for helping keep Lestari, and sorry for the trouble." Sinta said to Kinara who was now standing next to her.
"Not bothered at all, Mother. Nara was even happy that Lestari wanted to play here, so Nara had a friend." Kinara said while rubbing Lestari's head slowly which still looks sleepy.
Sinta just smiled, then she asked Lestari to wave to Kinara before they waltzed away from the girl's house.
Lestari according. The little girl waved her hand several times until her mother's footsteps carried her away from Kinara's sight.
After making sure Lestari and her mother entered the house, Kinara closed the door and immediately cleaned the bottles of drinks from the table and brought them back to the kitchen while humming cheerfully, recalling Lestari's anxious face while asleep.
"Gemessssshhhh!" he shouted alone.
