The romantic dinner that Atha prepared went smoothly, the gift she gave Kinara was also well received by the girl. But tonight's show can't stop here.
After persuading Kinara's father to allow her to take her daughter an hour longer, Atha drives her car to a place she had long wanted to visit with Kinara. It was not a romantic place, full of lights and or beautiful candles.
Its location is far away in the outskirts of Jakarta which is almost untouched by humans. It was a field that began to be overgrown with weeds and there were some Flamboyant trees whose flowers began to bloom. Far across the field stood tall buildings of skyscrapers, whose light rays were able to penetrate the darkness of the gripping night. There is an artificial lake that separates the field from the tall buildings opposite it.
For the past two years, whenever her longing for her mother could no longer be dammed and she was too embarrassed to cry at the woman's navel, Atha would come here. The nights, after another human sleeps under the blanket. Or early in the morning when the cold feels piercing the skin and other humans around it are still cool to wade through dreams.
The rustling sound of leaves from the Flamboyant tree and the reeds that began to grow high almost equal to the height of his body managed to make Atha feel a little calmer. Although his longing for his mother could not be fully treated, but in this place, Atha like finding a new world. A world of peace where he can momentarily forget the weirdness that surrounds his life.
Since her mother's death, Atha no longer has a place to really go home. His father often traveled out of town, even abroad on business. The death of the mother not only made Atha an orphan, but also seemed to be an orphan despite the fact that the father was still alive.
Then, he met Kinara. The beautiful girl with a charming sweet smile managed to make him fall in love. They used to be just friends, just like other children who often spent time playing and laughing together. But as time goes on, Atha finds Kinara as a new home where she can go home.
And so, for whatever is new in her life and she wants to share it with others for the first time, Atha wants that person to be Kinara.
"Do you know where this place is from?"
Atha turned his head, finding Kinara sitting next to him looking amazed at the expanse of lake water that rippled slowly exposed to the wind. It's dark here, there's really no lighting to help them look around. But with the twinkle emanating from those two beautiful eyeballs, Atha seemed to be able to see her surroundings clearly.
"No accident when I miss Mother again very much." Obviously Atha. His gaze was still fixed towards Kinara. Until finally, the girl turned her head and their gazes met in a straight line.
"You come here often?"
Atha nodded. "I used to come here if again miss the same Mother. And, lately, I miss Mommy more often."
"Pretty."
The one word Kinara said before the girl returned threw a distant gaze forward. His dangling legs (as they were now sitting on the hood of the car) were swung around, a cheerful humming sound began to sound along with his thin lips muttering amidst an expanding smile.
"Yes, pretty." Atha said with a barely audible voice.
She had no idea what Kinara had previously praised in the word beautiful, but to Atha, the beauty she had just said was entirely devoted to Kinara. Although in fact, the word beautiful is never enough to describe the figure beside him.
Once again, Atha would say that she was lucky to have Kinara in her life.
"Ra," she called him slowly.
"Hmm?" Kinara turned her head again, with a still-patched smile and unfinished humming.
"I love you."
Kinara knew it was just a simple sentence. But, because Atha said it, especially the man said it while looking at him fixedly, then Kinara could not be untouched.
"I know" he said.
"I love you, more than Minions love bananas." Said Atha again.
"And you know that I love you to the moon and back."
Atha chuckles. This was the first time Kinara was willing to return her love with words like this. Normally, the girl would just smile then pat her head slowly, like a proud mother because her son had managed to learn one new word in his life.
The wind gushed softly against their faces, flying the children of Kinara's hair to the point of making her dangle over her pretty face, which of course, Atha would not let anything hinder her gaze to that pretty face.
So, Atha reached out, put away the strand of hair and slipped it behind the ear. And at once, Atha felt her heart beating faster than ever before when she found Kinara's beautiful face looking more charming under the full moonlight.
Seconds by second passed, Atha was still reluctant to keep her face away from there. The distance between her face and Kinara's face was probably only five fingers wide. The distance was quite close, and for the first time managed to cause a strange sensation in Atha.
Three knew of dating Kinara, she was always trying to hold back. Restricting every move of his hand to not touch Kinara excessively. Because he kept his distance, he never even kissed the sweet lips of his lover.
But tonight, either because of the atmosphere that supports or because of his feelings are indeed in a phase that is exploding, his long fingers move impulsively reaching for the beautiful face of Kinara. His thumb crept slowly rubbing Kinara's lower lip that looked shiny because of the pink liptint baluran. The look in his eyes was clearly fixed on those fresh and sweet looking ranum lips, until out of nowhere it came, a boldness prompted Atha to raise his gaze and say something that had never been thought of in the head before.
"Ra," she called him slowly.
Kinara did not reply. But Atha clearly knew that the girl was fully devoted to him. So, Atha continued.
"Can I ... kiss your lips?"
Waiting for a nod of the head from Kinara turned out to be as stressful as the moment where she waited for the announcement of high school graduation. Straining it until it makes his heart beat fast and his stomach feels nauseous for no apparent reason.
But, a few seconds passed and the expected one never arrived.
Atha is almost giving up. He will not force. Again, he wouldn't have gone that far if it wasn't for Kinara's permission. Because the magnitude of all the lust that was in him never exceeded the great desire to keep Kinara.
When Atha removed her hand from Kinara's face in a slow motion, she was made to flinch when Kinara's hand (which inexplicably felt cold) held her back. The girl looked at him fixedly, then with such a faint movement, Kinara nodded.
Permission has been obtained, what else is awaited? So, Atha moved closer. Staring at Kinara's eyes lingered for a few seconds before their eyes simultaneously closed in a very slow motion. The distance was cut little by little until it was completely exhausted.
The lips that had never greeted each other finally met, sipping each other with sweetness as their hands clasped each other to ensure that this moment, the present, they are the most fallen of human beings.
Along with the increasingly concentrated nights and their increasingly intense lip links, the originally locked asmaraloka gates manage to open, welcoming them to fall in love more intensely than ever before.
