The After The Rain

The After The Rain
Confirmations

For days later, the discussion about Astari was still ongoing. In fact, his level had risen to the stage where Sekala was no longer feeling uncomfortable, but wanted to make Kinara's mouth stop talking nonsense.

Like this afternoon, for example, instead of keeping a good watch behind the cashier's desk, the chatty girl covered the table that Andanu occupied, instead, asik gossiped with the young man while occasionally glancing at him then whispered something back.

There is no need to hear what the girl whispered to Andanu, because through facial expressions and gestures of both, Sekala already knew that the topic of their discussion must not be far from him and Astari.

It was evident from the suspicious smile that suddenly appeared on the faces of both of them when the figure of Astari appeared from behind the cafe door. She looked beautiful in a light blue dress below her knees. His hair was tied in half, his legs were clad in heels three inches white. Seeing from his unusual appearance, Sekala guessed that the woman wanted to or just returned from an event.

Once still quietly behind the cashier, watching until Astari joined Andanu and Kinara, the chatty girl got up and ran to him with a big smile.

"Mas Kala," he called out, leaning his body over the counter.

"Come in here if you want to talk, don't think so." Tegurnya, hinted to Kinara not to plunge on a dirty counter.

"Ih, kelama. From here, say,"

Once turning the lazy eyeball, throwing his phone over the counter then cross-seeking while looking at Kinara seriously.

"Well, what do you want to say?" he asked, a bit sewot because honestly he had a feeling that this chatty girl would say nonsense to him again.

"Mas Kala want to walk not the same Mbak Astari?"

Well, right, it's true what Sekala guesses. This chatty girl indeed seemed to be talented to give him a headache.

"I'm busy." Resist. Then, he grabbed back his phone, peeked at the flat object as he walked towards the chair in the corner of the counter then sat on it.

Kinara grunted sebal. But he still did not give up on persuading Sekala to go for a walk with Astari. Because he had planned this well with Andanu. Although the young man initially rejected the idea because he thought Sekala was not worthy enough to be with Astari who was much older.

And so, Kinara ran inside the counter. Stop right in front of Sekala, just silent for a few moments to make Sekala forced to raise his eyes again while exhaling a rough breath.

"What, the hell, Kin?" Just getting upset.

"Streetings with Astari" said Kinara, winking funny eyes, making Sekala instantly feel helpless.

Indeed this chatty girl named Kinara Adorelia, just know that she will not stand if treated to such funny behavior.

Finally, not wanting to see Kinara acting up and his ears getting hotter to hear his endless chatter about Astari, Sekala got up from his seat. The phone was put in his pants pocket, then he just walked over to Astari without saying anything to Kinara.

Kinara smiled brightly, giving code to Andanu through the look in his eyes, as if saying that their first mission had been successfully launched.

Kinara could not hear what Sekala had told Astari, but when she saw Astari rise up and start following Sekala who had already walked first towards the exit, her smile grew perfectly.

"That's it, dong." He said, no matter who.

...****************...

Stopped the car after driving for ten minutes. Astari who was sitting in the passenger seat also did not protest, instead she quite understood why Sekala decided to take her away only so far.

"Nara equals Andanu ngeselin really, huh?" astari asked, after a long period of silence.

While exhaling slowly, then turned to look at Astari who had already looked at her with an unchanging gaze from day to day.

"I don't know why their brains can think that far" I said. Because he did not understand where the strange thoughts that gnawed at the heads of the two young people came from.

"Same, I don't know why they think that either." Astari nodded her head slowly. "Tempo day, Andanu even lectured me about not falling into love with younger men" he continued, ending the mild rarity.

"But ... " Secala cut, but because he was still hesitant to continue his words or not, he gave a long pause.

Astari understood what he was going to ask. If you can be proud of yourself, he actually includes people who are sensitive to the surrounding. So, without waiting for Sekala's sentence to be finished because it seemed that the man would still not continue in the near future, Astari shook her head slowly.

"I don't have a crush on you, really." He said, smiling at the end of the sentence.

"Maybe those two boys think I have a crush on you because I've been watching you a lot, but."

"I know," cut. From the beginning, he was already confident in his own analysis. That Astari had no such feelings towards him. "But the duo of death boys will not want to understand if we, as adults, do not explain in detail." He said, it was getting frustrated because whatever he said to Kinara was only considered wind then by the chatty girl.

Astari nodded again, she clearly understood what Sekala meant by explaining in detail. "But, I can't explain to Andanu the real reason for me," he regretted, it became more and more so when he saw the disappointed look on Sekala's face.

"Why?"

"There's one thing that makes your relationship with that person bad, so I can't explain to him that I keep watching you because I remember that person. Because if Andanu finds out, he's gonna go berserk,"

Just taking a long breath. If this was the case, what else would he have to do to make Kinara and Andanu stop matching himself to Astari? If not told the real reason, the two dead boys would still insist on saying that Astari liked him.

"If it were so, the two leaks would think that I had rejected you or whatever was the language. Kin would be more and more ranting, or worse, he would stop talking to me."

Astari and Sekala exhaled a long breath simultaneously, then they both fell silent with their heads agonizing over how to get Andanu and Kinara to stop misunderstanding.

...****************...

In the end, Astari and Sekala returned to the cafe after leaving for almost an hour, without bringing any solution to their problems.

Meanwhile, two death boys who until now were still busy gossiping suddenly raised their heads and both smiled brightly when they found Sekala and Astari emerging from behind the cafe door. Maybe they think that their plan has gone smoothly, and start making other plans to launch next.

"Seru, right?" todong Kinara, just a moment after Sekala broke through to the back of the counter.

While not answering, just a glance at Kinara then walked to the corner counter and sat the henchman on the chair while looking at his phone.

"Oh, Mas Kala, am I talking!" grouser Kinara. He caught up with Sekala, standing looming in front of the man with both hands folded in front of his chest.

However, Sekala did not raise his gaze. Even as Andanu and Astari walked towards the counter to say goodbye, Sekala was still reluctant to shift her focus away from the phone.

Kinara snorted, then turned around to approach Andanu and Astari.

"The roads are cool, aren't they, Ma'am?" whispered to Astari.

In response to that question, Astari simply smiled. To be honest, he was afraid of mispronouncing. He was eager to tell Kinara to stop forcing Sekala to take him on the road, but if he was wrong in choosing the right vocabulary, the fear that Sekala had expressed to him had even become a reality.

After having a little chat with Sekala during their walks earlier, Astari finally became more convinced that Sekala did like Kinara. So, he clearly knew how upset the man was when the girl he liked even made a match with someone else.

"Kala's not evil, is she?" whispered Kinara again.

"Not bad, Nara. All right," Astari replied in a soft voice. He glanced at Sekala at a glance, then looked back at Kinara intensely.

It sounded as if Kinara was exhaling a sigh of relief. But the relief made Astari feel even more guilty towards Sekala. If only he could control his longing feelings, perhaps he wouldn't have made Andanu and Kinara misunderstand.

"Later, I help Mbak so he can go out with Mas Kala again," said Kinara spirit.

"Yes, thank you, yeah. Yes, Ma'am andanu go home first." Pamit Astari, do not want to linger here because the weather has begun to feel bad. He clearly felt that Sekala who was now sitting in the corner of the counter was feeling uncomfortable.

"Yesa .. be careful."

"Gue go back first," Andanu who had been listening to the conversation between Astari and Kinara, followed suit.

"Yes, be careful you bring the bike, speed!"

"Yes, chatty!"

"Bye, Nara!"

"Bye!!!"

After Andanu and Astari came out of the door of the cafe, Kinara again walked up to Sekala who still did not change his sitting position at all.

"Mas" he called slowly.

At once just cleared his throat, but his gaze at all still can not be separated from the phone.

"A-"

Ting!

Kinara's speech is truncated when a single message notification is in. Eventually, Kinara paused the intention to talk and chose to check her phone first.

The flat object was taken out of the pocket of the apron he was wearing, then he hurriedly checked the message that had just come in.

The message came from Astari, who may now be on his way home with Andanu.

Do you have time after work? Ma'am wants to talk to you. It's about Sekala.

Kinara glanced at Sekala for a moment, guessing for himself what if Astari would say about his boss. Did Sekala just reject Astari? Or...His boss has said bad things to the woman?

Well, if until the man really did evil to Astari, Kinara would not stay silent.
