Half-eleven nights, Kinara was still at home sitting at the study table. His eyes focused on the laptop screen that displays various job openings with various fields and salaries offered.
It had been since an hour and a half that Kinara had spent searching for job advertisements for her. But of the many he found on the internet, none of them fit his field. In addition, most of them require full-time workers who can work for a minimum of 8 hours and for 5 out of seven working days. While Kinara who is still a student certainly can not take such a job because it will interfere with his college schedule.
Kinara gave a rough sigh. Damaging her hair was frustrating as she closed her eyes tightly. He's dizzy, to be honest. His mind was again divided into several parts. And in the midst of the chaos of the contents of the head, Kinara had thought of something that made him increasingly confused.
"Did I take a college break, huh?" he muttered, voicing the contents of the head that had been a storm had asked to be removed from its place.
But a second later, Kinara shook her head vigorously. Resolutely rejecting the idea because if Mama and Papa knew about this idea, they would definitely be disappointed.
Papa had even prepared an education fund for him, although he eventually refused and he insisted on funding his own lectures from now on. Kinara didn't want Mama and Papa's simple dream of seeing her graduation on time to run aground.
Tired of searching and not finding a way out, Kinara turned off the laptop and also a small lamp on her study desk. With a dragged step, Kinara walked towards the bed.
Kinara sat on the edge of the mattress while pulling and exhaling regularly to ward off the unrest that began to regain control of her. Then, in the midst of his efforts, Kinara realized one thing: that life could indeed be this difficult for some people. He was too absorbed in the pleasures and comforts God had given him all this time, to the point of forgetting that the world was spinning and when it came to the part where he had to be in the lower round, he said, Kinara did not prepare.
Sighing became the only thing Kinara could do when the various positive sentences she was trying to bring to her head were no longer effective. Late at night it was time for negative thoughts to come attacking, so instead of getting carried away by those negative thoughts and ending up being a pitiful human, Kinara hurriedly laid her body on the bed.
The ceiling in his room still looked clean. Later, if there is free time, he might force Atha to accompany him to buy some stickers to be installed there. Star stickers like the one Papa once bought for him, or just stickers with pictures of the entire solar system. So that when bad thoughts began to come shrouding his head like this, Kinara could at least seek tranquility from looking at the ceiling of his room.
A loud clockwork moment took Kinara further and further away from the conscious. As the night wore on and outside the rain fell unpredictably, Kinara fell asleep along with the problems she still had to find her way out of.
...****************...
Early in the morning, after performing the congregational morning prayers with Papa and Mama, Kinara sauntered away from home in a sports suit. Earphones attached to the ear, energetic songs filled the ear cavity, ready to accompany Kinara burning the bad fats in his body while helping to get rid of the bad thoughts that still remain.
Kinara swung her legs, running around the complex which was already crowded at 5am. There are many motor vehicle traffic with a wide range of merchandise. Kinara assumed that those people were the traders who were preparing to open a field in the market.
Kinara still continued to swing a step. The song played from his cellphone increasingly helps burn the spirit in him that had dimmed yesterday.
While the song was still spinning and constantly changing, deep in his head, Kinara began to devise one by one a new plan. He may be able to try to find a part-time job from cafes and various eating places scattered in the campus area. In addition to the close distance, Kinara can also adjust to his college schedule so that no one will be disturbed.
Actually, Kinara got the idea from Atha. Before he had performed the morning prayer, the man called to wake him up for worship. Atha was indeed the craft in reminding him of worship. Though it may seem a little jarring, Atha never forgets his duty to meet the Creator. That is also one of the reasons why Kinara was so fond of an Atharya Danapati.
Before the phone closed, they had a chat for a while about the future plans that Kinara would take. And after a series of concerns that Kinara expressed to Atha, the man began to share the ideas stored in his head.
Actually Atha had offered help to ask for job vacancies to his father, but Kinara obviously rejected the idea because he still wanted to get a job with his own business.
About twenty minutes of running, Kinara started to feel tired. His body began to feel hot and sweaty hair began to trickle down his face and his entire body.
Finally, Kinara decided to pause for a moment. He sat on the sidewalk, slipping his feet. Waving your hands in front of your face several times to drive away the sultry who ambushed without stopping.
The song turned off, the earphones were removed from the ears and Kinara started to rush to the phone again. From there, Kinara tried to find information about the cafes around the campus because, said Atha, many students on their campus who work part-time there. There are baristas, there are also those who come every Sunday night to fill live music there.
Kinara attention is focused on one cafe that is located slightly indented when compared to other cafes around. The front view of the cafe shows a large yard so that it can be used to park several cars and motorcycles.
Unlike the cafes on the right-hand side that are the favorite contemporary style of young people, the cafe actually looks elegant in its own way. Around the cafe stands tall various kinds of green trees. But what attracted Kinara the most was a Flamboyant tree with reddish flowers that bloomed beautifully. Just one look, Kinara had already fallen in love with the cafe.
"Okay, you're my first target." He said while pointing to the photo of the cafe. "Please be kind, yes. Because I've fallen in love with you." Reciprocity.
A faint smile rose along with his spirit that came back to life. For Mama's sake, for Papa's sake and also for his own life. Kinara would be a hard worker to improve their lives.
