The After The Rain

The After The Rain
Where to Take It?

The next day, precisely the afternoon when the sun had moved back to the contest, Kinara found Sekala standing alone in front of Orion, looking at the Flamboyant tree whose flowers and leaves had begun to fall. The position of the man was behind him, with one hand inserted into the pocket of his pants and another silent on the side of the body.

From behind the cashier's desk, Kinara did not take her eyes off at all. Just ignored Jeremy's babble that has been going on for quite a long time, only he considers it as a whiff of meaningless wind.

"As soon as I think there's a problem,"

And strangely, the name Sekala was like a spell that freed him from the shackles of evil magic. Because when the name was on the air, Kinara suddenly regained her consciousness, and immediately paid attention to Jeremy who was standing leaning on the counter side.

"Lo know, what's the problem?" jeremy asked as he straightened his body. The young man then walked up to him, stopping right before him where it was the usual position of the customers making orders.

"Gue wants to help" Jeremy said again.

"That's not something Mas Jer or I can help with," after answering, Kinara returned a glance at Sekala across the street. The man still did not move from his position, even his posture was still maintained as before.

"On family?" Jeremy shot on target.

Without turning her head, Kinara nodded. "We all know family problems are the most sensitive things, which no one else should interfere in."

Jeremy's breath sounds rang out, making Kinara finally turn her head, only to find Jeremy following along to look towards Sekala.

"Padahan, Mas Sekala has helped me a lot and Dimas. But now it's his turn to have a problem, I can't help anything. It's sad," Jeremy muttered. The young man's gaze became increasingly visible.

"I understand Mas Jer," Kinara said, again anchoring the view towards Sekala. "But perhaps, we can help with prayer. Because, is not prayer also included in one form of effort?"

Kinara still did not take her eyes off Sekala, so she would not know that Jeremy was looking at her so deeply. Then, the young man drew a glance that he finally put on the ends of his own shoes.

The sky that was originally still decorated with orange tinge, is now slowly darkening. The streetlights across from it began to be simultaneously lit. Simultaneously, drizzle down thinly, making Sekala finally move from his position.

As the man turned around, Kinara hurriedly retracted her gaze, pretending to concern herself with the work behind the checkout table at a time when there was actually nothing she could do. Orion is not too crowded today, that also makes Jeremy can stay on the counter side to talk nonsense in a long time.

Meanwhile, when Kinara occasionally glanced at the door to see where Sekala had reached, he found Jeremy did not move from his position. The young man continued to stare towards the door, even as his gaze became more intense as the figure of Sekala finally entered the cafe and walked towards them.

"Don't disturb Kin," that one sentence slid off Sekala's lips, clearly addressed to Jeremy who instead clucked.

"A lot of stress, Mom? Not going to waver too Kinara even though I disturb him every day," Jeremy as he glanced at Kinara.

Which glimpsed consciously, but pretended not to know and even cool flipping through the menu book on the cashier table.

"It's not a matter of possessiveness," once again opened his voice after being silent for a while with a gaze fixed straight towards Kinara.

He turned his head towards the young man, then took a slow breath before swinging his hand, showing the gesture of telling Jeremy to return to the kitchen.

"Reverse, you're safer in the kitchen than here." Sekala.

Jeremy, who usually complies when told, suddenly revolted. The young man shook his head strongly, his hands folded in front of his chest and his gaze was so intensely staring at Sekala.

"I want to be here, same Kinara." Said Jeremy.

At once did not understand why Jeremy suddenly behaved like that, but he also did not have enough time and energy to find out or try to respond to the young man's plan.

Because she had to go somewhere else, and Kinara had to go with her.

So, Sekala nodded her head as she walked towards the door to enter the counter.

"If so, you can replace Kin at the cashier. I want to take him out, maybe until the cafe closes."

No one had time to respond to his words, Sekala suddenly just pulled slowly Kinara's arm. After the girl stood next to him, Sekala's hand moved down, slowly finking their fingers so as to make Kinara frown in confusion.

"Later I will increase your salary this month," said Sekala. Then, without waiting until Jeremy answered, Sekala took Kinara to follow his steps.

Sekala carried Kinara walking towards the exit after helping the girl release the apron that was attached to her slender body. The umbrella that was kept in a special place on the left side of the door was taken, then she pushed the door away then walked out with Kinara.

The drizzle that had originally only fallen thin, had now turned into a heavy rain accompanied by a gust of wind that was quite strong. At once let go of his hand for a while, only to clasped back tightly into Kinara's hand after opening the umbrella and they continued on their way, with Kinara still ignorant.

"Don't go far, you'll get wet." At once pulled Kinara to get closer to him, leaning the umbrella towards the girl and giving up the right side of her body to the rain.

Seeing that Sekala's shoulder was already wet, Kibar finally complied. He tidied his body to Sekala's side, then helped the man hold the umbrella properly so that they were both safe and no drops of rain fell on them.

The move they were swinging was getting wider and taking them further away from Orion, but until then, Kinara still had not asked where she was going to be taken by Sekala. As Papa said, he never felt worried when he was with this man. It was as if he had fully surrendered himself to Sekala, for he knew, with the man, he would not be hurt.

Meanwhile, from inside the cafe, Jeremy watched the departure of the two with a stifled smile. Indeed the outs were officially announced, but he was clearly convinced that Sekala and Kinara had already established a relationship—or at least had walked in that direction.

"Based on young people" he murmured. Unknowingly, from earlier Dimas was watching himself with a head that was repeatedly slowly being bent.
