Today, Kinara had four classes like yesterday. She still found herself being the subject of gossip, the difference was, she was already completely unconcerned. Kinara no longer even felt upset or wondered why she was being blasphemed when Dahayu and Atha were having an affair. Because, Kinara finally realized that no matter how good he behaved, people would still have a reason to talk bad things to him.
Just like yesterday, today Kinara also did not find Dahayu attending classes. And, to be honest, he doesn't care at all. Kinara is a typical person who can be so affectionate and caring to those around, but once she decides to withdraw, she, then Kinara will completely cut off access and no longer leave any concern for them. Perhaps, his concern would only return if they were dying before his eyes.
Wicked? According to Kinara. He's just trying to protect himself from getting hurt. A kind of coping mechanism to avoid himself from worse things.
"Your sister's clothes are still in my house" Kinara said to Andanu who was sitting on his left, without turning his head. For some reason, the young man chose to sit next to him, even though there were still many empty benches in the class today.
"Said Astari, wear it. Don't be behind." Andanu said, neither turned his head towards Kinara and was busy watching the projector screen.
"Thank you, if that's it."
Andanu did not reply. He only glanced at Kinara to check on the girl's facial expression.
And ... dare to swear! Andanu goosebumps as he finds Kinara staring flat at the projector screen in front. The expression on the girl's face was also completely illegible, in stark contrast to the figure she used to see.
Can a broken heart really change a person to such a drastic extent?
"Si Andanu what is Kinara's mempetin? A crush?"
"Well, maybe he's been ngincer Kinara from a long time, huh."
"Or not-don't, did they really already pas Kinara still dating Atha?"
"You mean, they're cheating on you too?"
"Then anyway, it could be Atha just as Kinara broke up indeed because Kinara was not right."
"Andanu also gatel very, like there is no other girl."
Kinara tried hard to hold back her emotions as the unpleasant whispers went on the air. However, his patience finally reached the threshold as the men were constantly dragging Andanu's name in their gossip.
Kinara didn't like anyone else being involved in her troubles, she didn't like being made to feel guilty. So, inevitably, he had to immediately silence their mouths before what came out further exhausted his patience.
Calmly, Kinara turned her head around. He looked at the people who had been gossiping behind him one by one, then in a slow motion, he took out some candy wrappers from inside the bag and then handed them to the four female students.
"Eat the candy first, your mouth stinks, it's a real mess." He said with a voice and a flat facial expression. Then, as the four female students were unable to pick up the candy she had offered, Kinara got up from her chair and impulsively went to the table of the four female students, just to put his candy on the table with a slight movement.
Then, Kinara leaned her body towards them, looking back at them one by one.
"If you want to gossip, don't forget to brush your teeth first, dear. Let her breath not smell and disturb the people around." Kinara said, ending with a mocking smile that managed to make the four girls in front of him speechless.
"Cinara! What are you doing?!" shouted the lecturer from the front of the class.
Calmly, Kinara turned around, smiled a sweet smile at the lecturer and then said quietly, "For their love of sweets, sir. Because their mouths stink, pity other friends so disturbed."
Hearing Kinara's words just now, the entire class suddenly became boisterous. They cheered on the four girls who had contributed the most noise pollution and were actually annoying, but no one dared to reprimand. Kinara's classmate secretly thanked her, because thanks to her courage, the four girls became speechless.
"Silence all of you!" snapped teaching lecturers when the fanfare did not subside.
"Good, sir." Kinara sauntered towards her chair, then immediately sat down and returned to follow the course of the lesson.
The four girls behind him were already completely silenced, while Andanu sitting next to him could only gawk for a few moments, before finally giving him two thumbs up as a compliment.
"Lo's cool,"
Kinara only smiled, quietly sighing in relief because honestly, she was already afraid that she would be expelled from the classroom because it had caused a commotion.
...****************...
Half five in the afternoon, the last class finished quietly and solemnly because the four rambunctious girls he had managed to make a silence in the first class earlier did not dare to sound anymore in the next classes.
Kinara rushed to tidy up her belongings and walked out of the classroom, just as the phone in calana's pocket shook and she was forced to stop in the middle of the door.
"Side, not at the door," Before he could get the phone out of his pants pocket, Kinara felt her arm being pulled, and without even turning her head, she knew that the culprit was Andanu.
"Sorry," said Kinara, thinking that Andanu pulled him because the young man was willing to pass and he had blocked the road.
But, after he said an apology, Andanu did not move and instead stood staring in front of him while looking at him fixedly.
"Why?" asked Kinara astonished, he became increasingly unable to check the messages that entered his phone because it had to serve Andanu first.
"Lo's cool" Andanu said.
Kinara rolled a lazy eyeball. "So you said that in first grade."
"Gue will be repeated again and again, because you are really cool."
"Thank you, I'll take that as a compliment."
"That's a compliment, indeed" Andanu straightened up, suddenly hurting his hands and smiling.
For some reason, Andanu's smile looked special because Kinara rarely saw the young man smile. Maybe because Andanu is not a typical person who likes to smile, or basically Kinara who never pay attention to the young man.
"Gue hope, you'll continue to be as cool as you are now."
"Why?" ask Kinara wonder.
"Cuz tears don't suit you. Lo looks many times more attractive with the strong side of lo now. So, I hope you'll get stronger from now on."
"And you should smile more from now on, Andanu." Reply Kinara. "Because your smile is sweet, baby if you just keep it to yourself." Ending a smile that without Kinara knowing, had already managed to make Andanu feel a strange rumble in his chest.
Irresponsibly, Kinara waltzed away after saying that. Letting Andanu stand rigidly in the face of the strange feeling that had just come to him for the first time.
