The After The Rain

The After The Rain
Application Event

Like a dream, Kinara found her house filled with many people, some of whom she did not know.

The spacious living room has not been converted into a meeting area, where sofas and tables that previously inhabited have been removed somewhere and replaced with carpets that are held and now become a seat for people who come.

Among those he knew, there was Sekala with her mother and older brother. Andanu and Astari were staring at him with two different eyes. Andanu was still confused, while Astari seemed to sparkle happily.

Kinara himself sat opposite them, with Mama and Papa also Lestari and Sinta.

She, who used to wear only knee-length shorts and T-shirts while at home, is now forced to wear a long pink dress with sequins in parts such as the neck and at the end of the arms. The hair that used to be just a pussy or a horse tie, now arranged in such a way, tied half with a hair tie decorated with three beautiful pearls that make the appearance more plenary. Her face also daubed makeup, although she still insisted that her makeup was not made too thick.

Of course, this is all thanks to the actions of Sekala who casually said he would come to bring a family entourage to propose to him officially after yesterday kidnapped him to a jewelry store to choose a ring.

Even though he was upset, Kinara still tried to singleness smile throughout the course of the event. And now, after all the series of events was finished, he wanted to immediately get up from his seat and drag Sekala to talk to only two.

But unfortunately, the people who came here tonight seemed unwilling to cooperate with him. So instead of immediately resigning themselves, they all even compactly silent in their respective positions, continuing to throw gazes at him as if he was the star tonight.

"Ma, it's over, right?" whispered to Mama who was sitting on the left.

Mama nodded with a gaze fixed on Sekala across from them. And as Mama's smile rose, Kinara clearly knew it was aimed at the man.

"Keep, why don't you go home?" she tried to make her voice heard only by herself and Mama. Because it's not good either, right, if the invited guests hear.

Mama who was initially stubborn once to keep staring at Sekala, finally turned her head as well. Just to throw him a confused look. "Why indeed?" ask Mama.

Kinara glanced at Sekala at a glance, then brought her closer to Mama, more precisely close the lips to Mama's ears so that it was easier to whisper the next sentence.

"Nara wants to talk to Mas Kala. Can it be that Nara drag Mas Kala out of here?"

Responding to that, Mama was silent for a while before finally looking back at Sekala.

Kinara didn't know what Mama was going to do next, she could only wait.

Until suddenly, Mama called Sekala's name slowly so as to make not only the owner's name but also all the guests who came to look at Mama.

"Nara wants to talk to both of them" said Mama. All of a sudden, without caring if now his daughter's face was as red as a boiled crab when the people there looked at him and revealed a meaningful smile.

Kinara was about to protest, but was stopped because his net caught the movement of Sekala who began to rise from his seat. The man then walked towards her, slightly bowed and then extended his hand before her.

Already so, there was no choice but to accept Sekala's helping hand so that they could immediately leave from there and avoid the gazes that everyone gave them.

He pulled her slowly, helped her up and then led her to walk towards the door.

When they reached the door and were about to step out, his eyes accidentally bumped into Andanu's, and Kinara swore it was the first time he saw Andanu looking at him that deep.

"Come," Sekala's voice interrupted. Throwing out any thoughts that were just about to start in his head about Andanu.

Still with her hand held tightly by Sekala, Kinara continued her steps.

Instead of stopping on the terrace, he dragged Sekala to the side of the house. Sekala's body, which was taller and larger than himself, was pushed slowly until his broad back touched the wall, and he stood before the man with both hands folded in front of his chest.

"Same father to Mother." Answer Sekala lightly. The man even flashed a smile, which made Kinara even more annoyed.

"But I haven't said yes!" Kinara half shouted. But when he realized that there were still many people inside the house and his voice could be heard, he hurriedly smothered his own mouth.

"But you didn't say no either. So I take it as a yes." Again, Sekala answered lightly. The man even joined in folding his hands in front of his chest, widening his smile when he saw a red tinge that was increasingly visible on both sides of Kinara's cheeks.

"Mas Kala's bummer!" grumbled Kinara, as he already had nothing else to say anymore.

With pouting lips, Kinara turned around, turning her back to Sekala who was now chuckling lightly at her behavior.

"I am." I'm Sekala. No objection to being said to be annoying by his own future wife.

Then, Sekala ventured to touch Kinara's shoulders, to make the girl look back at him.

And when it succeeded, he was increasingly unable to resist the smile when he found a twinkle in Kinara's eyes instead saying the opposite. Even though his lips were pouting and the girl continued to grumble about her hasty actions, Sekala could see that it was indeed what Kinara really needed.

He knew the girl needed someone who not only spiced up sickening sweet sentences, but someone who could instantly prove it with action.

Only, he realized that his actions were indeed a little excessive and a little too risky.

Because if Kinara were to refuse her invitation to marry, she would not only be ashamed, but might completely lose the confidence to approach anyone again.

"I'm sorry if I was in a hurry" he said after dissolving into his own feelings. "I just don't want to lose the opportunity to make you a part of my life." Then, Kinara's hand he held, both of them.

"I have lived in such a tormenting loneliness and guilt. Until finally met you, the snot boy who managed to make me not want to die."

"I'm not a snot boy!" Kinara protested.

He chuckled for a moment, then looked back at Kinara seriously. "You mean a lot to me, Kin. I'm serious."

As Kinara fell silent to absorb what Sekala said, the man suddenly brought his face closer, making Kinara, for some reason, close her eyes.

However, a few seconds passed, nothing happened. Kinara felt nothing on her face. Just a gust of wind that hit his face countless times.

Before Kinara reopened her eyes to check, she was first made to screech as her forehead was lightly flicked by Sekala.

"Ngapain rem so? Think what, hmm?" ask the man. Now, the distance between their faces was already back apart. So, actually, Sekala moved closer just now for what?

"Mas Kala is suddenly advancing! I just reflexively brushed the thing ... because ...." Duh, Kinara did not know what to reason with Sekala.

"But the wrong Mas Kala!" Kinara pushed Sekala's chest and then ran back inside the house.

They can only shake their heads. Then, after Kinara's figure disappeared behind the door, he turned to look at his own left palm. There, there was a single eyelash belonging to Kinara. Yes, she moved her face to pick up those falling eyelashes, but Kinara instead thought of something else.

"Ha. .. very nervous anyway, the wife-to-be." Mumbled. Then he stuffed the eyelashes into a shirt bag, then walked up to Kinara with a perfectly developed smile.
