The After The Rain

The After The Rain
Then There's Lestari

In total there were four classes that Kinara had to take, and the four classes she passed by feeling uncomfortable because she still heard whispers that were increasingly clearly aimed at her.

The three female students who sat several chairs to her left contributed the loudest whispers. Not only whispered, they also even threw a cynical look at him.

"It's only natural that if it is broken, the appearance is so, very mature with cool Atha."

"In part, already know his girlfriend the most hits guy on campus, why use dibiarin deket same temen itself."

"She's just as innocent as a moron."

"Do you know? I was horrified, it turns out he was just the son of a driver. It is natural that Atha is more like Dahayu, so that it is more equal in terms of appearance and economy."

All those sentences Kinara heard without knowing what to answer them with. There were still fifteen minutes before this final class was over, and Kinara had no choice but to hold back despite having to squeeze her hands together several times to hold back the emotions.

"Not to be shaken,"

Kinara stopped the movement of her hand that was writing something in the notebook and then looked back, finding Andanu knowingly was sitting right behind her. The young man stared flatly at her, then immediately threw his gaze at the front of the class to return to follow the lesson.

"Look ahead, you will be sprayed the same Mr. Gatot." Andanu said again with a gaze that was still fixed straight to the projector screen.

Kinara sighed softly, then refocused his attention on Gatot who was teaching.

"Lo has Twitter?" Andanu half whispered.

Kinara simply nodded her head, restarting her activities of note-taking.

"Don't open it, if necessary just remove the useless application from your phone." This time, Andanu's voice was a little louder, but not loud enough to make anyone other than the two of them hear his voice.

Kinara did not reply. From the way Andanu conveyed it to him alone, Kinara already knew that he must be a gossip by the students at the campus base, as had happened to Layla some time ago.

But Kinara did not care. He did not feel that he had done anything wrong, so he would only turn a blind eye and ear to the gossip that had hit him regarding the breakup between him and Atha.

The remaining fifteen minutes of class that felt like a year were finally over. Kinara heaved a sigh of relief, hurriedly tidied up her things and put them in the bag then immediately passed leaving the classroom just a few minutes after Mr. Gatot came out of the room.

Kinara knew all eyes were now on her, in a bad and unpleasant sense. Like he is an antagonist in a romance drama where every appearance will always cause hatred and condemnation from the audience.

The whispers back Kinara heard, even the volume became harder to make his ears feel stale. So, Kinara widened his pace while continuing to try to get rid of the sentences he heard from inside his head.

...****************...

The day was still quite bright when Kinara got home. The car he parked a bit to the edge then he immediately went down and rushed into the house.

From the front doorway, she could see Mama who had just emerged from behind the kitchen door. When the woman raised her head and their gazes met, Mama clearly looked astonished.

But Mama is still Mama, who will never force her to tell stories and will only wait until she opens her mouth voluntarily.

So, the woman just walked up to him while putting on a warm smile as usual.

"Mandi, keep eating." My mother said when she got in front of him.

Kinara simply nodded, then grabbed Mama's hand and placed a kiss on the back of her hand as usual. After that, he breezed into the room, to come out again a few minutes later with a towel draped around the neck. He then immediately went into the bathroom to clean himself up.

In the bathroom, Kinara did not immediately fulfill her intention to wash her body. He sat on the closet, daydreaming for a long time. Pulling and exhaling as if it were no longer something that would only keep him alive, but could help him to ease the uncomfortable feeling that enveloped him all day.

Then, he began to wonder, why did he? When he is the one who is hurt, why is he also the one who is blasphemed here and there? Actually, the standard for determining someone guilty of something is what? Kinara really did not understand, did not understand why he was hated when all he did was try to defend himself from those who had hurt his heart.

"Rho?! You are still long?! There's Lestari, he said he wanted to learn!" Mom suddenly shouted from outside the bathroom door.

Kinara turned her head towards the door, then let out a long sigh before replying. "A little while!"

Then Kinara immediately took off all the clothes and began to splash water all over her body.

Fifteen minutes later, Kinara came out of the bathroom with her hair half wet. In the kitchen, Lestari was already sitting a henchman at the dining table. The little girl looked cool chewing on the pieces of watermelon that Mama provided, her cheeks looked bloated and it was funny.

"You're only here to eat watermelon, right? I'm not." Tempt Kinara while plucking a piece of watermelon from the plate in front of Lestari.

"No. The guy I came here wants to learn." Lestari said with her mouth half full.

"Times?"

Lestari. Sari from the chewed watermelon widens to make the corners of the lips and chin redden. Fishing a sense of anxiety so that Kinara immediately wiped the watermelon drops using a tissue that he comot from the table.

"Udah gede eating is still a mess," taunted Kinara. But he said that with a smile that widened to the ears.

Instead of being offended by being hurt, Lestari laughed. Tingled over his own indiscretions.

"What do you want to learn?" tanya Kinara, glanced at the three written books stacked on the dining table. In the top book, Kinara can see Lestari's name written using a black pen. From the form of the writing alone, Kinara could already guess that the boy himself did it.

"Mathematics." Answer Lestari. After eating the watermelon, the boy jumped down from the chair and pulled out a few sheets of tissue to wipe his sticky hands.

"I'm not good at math." Kinara said, only to make Lestari look at him in disbelief.

"How much are you?" asked Lestari suddenly, Kinara frowned.

"Twenty,"

"Old man," chirped Lestari with a rancid look.

"Well, why am I old?!"

"I'm not done talking, Kak Kinara .. don't cut."

Kinara clenched her lips again, allowing Lestari to continue what she said was not finished.

But, after the boy reopened his mouth, Kinara immediately regretted his decision to let Lestari speak again.

Because with a sinful look, Lestari returned to sleep, "Udah old, cook can not teach children Elementary Math lessons." Then the boy just took his books with him to the living room.

"Well, this is a big boy." muttered Kinara who still could not believe that he had just been lent by a snot boy like Lestari.

But, Kinara had to thank Lestari, as the boy had subconsciously helped her a little forget the strange that had already filled her head.
