The sun had already almost completely sunk when the chatter between Kinara, Atha and Dahayu was finally finished. The three human children finally agreed to stop the conversation until here, because they had to go home and let the owner of the house to rest.
“After the day I picked you up.” Said Atha who was still reluctant to release his hand with Kinara even until now he was already beside his car.
Dahayu was standing on the other side of the car, ready to open the door and sit in the passenger seat. But his activities had to be postponed a little longer because he still had to witness the purity of an Atharya Danapati to the only girl of the heart, Kinara Adorelia.
“Iya. I've been there in, pity Dahayu has been waiting from earlier.” Kinara said as she glanced at Dahayu and chuckled softly when she found the girl turning her eyes while muttering silently.
Atha followed by glancing at Dahayu and instead smiled mockingly. “Everything has a boyfriend, let's not julid mulu if you want his friend dating.”
Tied so, Dahayu riding apitam. He immediately pelted Atha a deadly gaze that seemed as if it could tear the young man's body apart and cut him into insignificant small pieces. While Atha only responded with an unusually insolent smile.
“Udah, don't fight on.” Lerai Kinara's. Then, he moved slowly releasing the grasp of Atha's hand, which suddenly made the young man frown. “You have to go home, can not match continue to be the same I.” Kinara tried to give her understanding.
“Cium first,” Atha pointed at her own cheeks, slightly thrusting her face towards Kinara hoping to get a warm kiss there.
But instead of a warm kiss like she had been craving, Atha instead found her cheeks patted softly by Kinara. He frowned, looking at Kinara with a pair of eyes made to be clear, only to find the girl smiling faintly and back patting her cheeks before taking two steps back.
“Udah, there go home.” Kinara said in a very soft voice, almost like the lullaby she had heard as a child before her mother died when she was only thirteen.
Because the sun was getting down and on the other side of Dahayu began to grumble blatantly, finally Atha followed Kinara's desire to go home soon. After all, in a few hours, he would meet the girl again.
“Yes, I'm home. You come in, shower, pray and get ready to meet me again.” She said for the last time before getting into the car.
Atha waved to Kinara before driving her car out of the courtyard of Kinara's house. While Dahayu looks no longer interested in joining the separation procession that he thinks alay it and prefers to lean his head on the chair and close his eyes.
Minutes after the car left Kinara's courtyard and has now mingled with other vehicles on the highway, Atha just opened her voice after letting the silence reign for a long time.
“Make sure that doesn't happen, Ay. I don't want Kinara.” He said with a straight forward look.
Dahayu who had since closed her eyes also exhaled loudly as the first response to the speech of Atha just now.
“Gue also did not want to make Kinara sick. Don't talk as if this all wants me.” Dahayu. Then he tilted his body facing the car window. His eyes opened slowly and he began to focus on the streets with an unwelcome feeling.
...----------------...
Dahayu said nothing when she got out of Atha's car. He did not say thank you or farewell to the man. He let the man drive his car away from his residential area and disappeared in an instant swallowed by a turn.
His footsteps felt heavy even when he had just arrived in front of the gate. With the rest of the energy he still had, Dahayu dragged the towering iron gate so that he could enter.
When the gate opened, the guard ran over, asking why he did not scream to open the gate and, as usual, asked him, Dahayu simply ignored the question and continued his steps.
Dahayu squinted when she found the existence of her father's car parked in the yard. Completely surprised because not usually the middle-aged man was willing to spend a lot of time at home.
But because Dahayu no longer have the energy to guess what makes his father stay longer at home (and he also actually does not care too much) then Dahayu continued his steps.
The large door before him was pushed slowly, only to make Dahayu grimace the first time she found out was the messy state of the living room. Pillows that are usually lined up neatly on the sofa are now scattered on the floor. The flower vase, some photo frames and his mother's collection of ceramic jars had been turned into small pieces that scattered across the floor. There were blood spots scattered in several spots on the floor, a sign that the commotion this time seemed to be more brutal than usual.
Not even Dahayu finished regulating the condition of his heart that was crumpled dim because it was treated to a heartbreaking scene like this, he was again made to jerk when the sound of objects breaking from the upper floor sounded.
Arriving on the second floor, Dahayu immediately rushed to his parents' room. The door of the room slightly opened, Dahayu slowed down her steps and began to peek inside the room.
And swear to God, Dahayu felt his whole body limp when watching with his own eyes, his father was currently pointing a gun right in front of his face.
While his mother just kept quiet and looked at his father with a flat gaze, as if the gun right in front of his face was not a threat. Or perhaps, his mother had been waiting for this moment for a long time. The moment in which his life was taken directly by the husband who never again gave him affection.
“How many times have I told you, I don't care who you want to cheat with, just don't get caught!” peeking Haris while pushing Lisa's head using the Glock Meyer 22 muzzle that she was holding.
“Cheating with students who study at Dahayu campus? You moron! Intentionally to embarrass me, huh?! Intentionally, let all my colleagues know that this woman I married is nothing more than a lonely woman?! Yes?!” snapped Haris. His emotions were no longer stifled.
“From then until now, you're still a bastard, Lisa. You and your parents are both bastards!” Haris is no longer able to stem his emotions, he pulls the trigger and is ready to pass a bullet from inside the gun to pierce Lisa's head.
However, just before he removed his finger from there, Haris' attention was stolen from a scream coming from the door.
“Papa!” Dahayu ran to her father. Reckless, he snatched the gun from his father's hand until the bullet ready to be fired from there shot and immediately lodged into the wall of the room.
“What the fuck?! You want to die, huh?!” pekik Haris's. Just a little miss, not the wall that will be destroyed, but the head of Dahayu.
“Good if I can die now.” Said Dahayu lightly.
“What are you doing?!”
“Ay, go.” Sela Lisa while pulling Dahayu's arm so that the girl immediately leave from there.
“Ngak.” Dahayu shook her head hard. “If anyone has to die tonight, whether it's Papa or Mama, I have to come.”
“Sinting!” shout Haris. The gun was still in his hands, but now he had no interest in detonating a single bullet from there.
“Papa thought, I'm crazy because who?”
Haris did not answer. The man just gave a rude snort then immediately left from there before his emotions went back up and he was actually going to make one of the three of them die.
Dahayu can only look at the father's back until he is no longer seen. Before he finally heaved a sigh of relief because at the very least, no one had to die tonight.
“You should not interfere, this is Papa and Mama.” Lisa's Saying.
Dahayu looked over and stared at the mother. “Since Mama decided to give birth to me into the world, Mama has made me come dragged into
your problems are complicated. So, it's too late to ask me not to interfere now.”
After saying that, Dahayu breezed away just like that.
Leaving behind Lisa who could no longer even shed tears.
