The night crept up, but the two were still reluctant to move from the front porch. Kinara was still sobbing in Atha's arms. Spilling all the grief he endured all day without any intention of leaving him a little.
Atha, as usual, handled her cries patiently. The young man's hands unceasingly rubbed his head and back in turn. Letting her dress get wet with the tears she let out.
"Get it all out, Nara. It's okay." Whisper Atha slowly.
Hearing that, Kinara's cries broke even more. He squeezed out Atha's shirt to channel the tightness inside the chest. Tonight, Kinara would completely drain away all the tears she had so that there would be nothing left.
Meanwhile, behind the door, Mama witnessed how her daughter was crying roaring in the arms of the lover. As a mother, my heart hurt. But Mama did not want to show that sadness in front of Kinara.
So, all you can do is sigh repeatedly to expel the tightness that shrouds the chest. Keep chanting prayers that their lives will be fine.
Not far behind him, Papa also watched his wife and son who were expressing sadness in different ways. His heart ached, because he consciously knew that he was the cause of all the chaos that occurred in his small family.
As the head of the family, Papa had felt like a failure.
Lord.forgive me. Papa whimpers in heart.
...****************...
Satisfied in tears, Kinara pulled away from Atha's embrace. He slowly wiped away the trail of tears that soaked his cheeks using the back of his hand. His eyes were already swollen and slightly reddened, making his vision slightly blurry.
"Udah?" atha asked as she helped Kinara wipe away the trace of her tears.
Kinara nodded. The tightness in his chest was no longer so pronounced. There was still a little left, but he was sure the tightness would disappear slowly thanks to the presence of Atha beside him.
Atha smiled at Kinara's response. Then, he grabbed the plastic containing the snack and ice cream that he had brought and had placed it on the table before he pulled Kinara into the embrace earlier.
Atha thrust the plastic in front of Kinara with a sincere smile adorning her handsome face. Her lips that were pulled upwards made the hollow on her cheeks seem, something Kinara liked and could always make her intoxicated.
"This what?" asked Kinara with a typical hoarse voice of people crying.
"Es strawberry-flavored cream and your favorite Regal biscuits." Atha's smile grew. "But it's like the ice cream's starting to melt, huh." Atha's smile was somewhat reduced when he thought of the fate of the ice cream melting inside the pack.
"Thank you, Atha." Kinara grabbed the plastic that Atha thrust. But he did not open it and only remained silent for a long time. For some reason, just looking at the plastic alone can make his eyes blur again.
"Why, Ra?" ask Atha confused. He started to panic when he saw Kinara who lowered her head deeply. The smile that he had been singing was practically faded.
"Ra?" Atha touched Kinara's shoulder slowly.
Just as her hand touched that narrow shoulder, Atha felt Kinara's shoulder shake.
Oh my... Kinara crying again?
"Hey, why?" Atha panicked, grabbed Kinara's chin and pulled slowly so that he could see the face of ayu he missed.
Sure enough, the tears had returned to flow freely down his marble cheeks until they fell into the hands of Atha.
"Ra?"
Instead of replying, Kinara slid back into Atha's arms. This time, his embrace was even tighter than before.
"Sorry, Atha." Kinara said in a slightly muffled voice as she now drowned her face in the chest of her lover's field.
"I'm sorry I had doubts about you." Kinara moved her face slightly away from Atha's chest. His gaze rose, nailing to the man who had inhabited his heart since three years ago.
"What's the question, honey?" atha's voice softened. Cupped cheek Kinara then rubbed slowly several times.
"When you suddenly dropped the phone, I thought you were doing it because you didn't want to hook up with me. I thought. "Kinara's sentence faltered because of the sobbing. For a moment, Kinara gave a pause to take a deep breath before continuing her sentence. "I thought you'd leave me because of what I am now."
Atha grimaced to hear the words of her lover. It turned out, he was indeed not that worthy to be trusted by Kinara. To the extent that the girl thought she was going to leave just because of a problem like this.
"The phone's disconnected because I'm dead, Ra." Atha explained. "Sorry, yes, because it makes you feel that way."
Kinara shook her head strongly. "Don't apologize, you're not wrong." Then Kinara went back into Atha's arms. "I'm wrong because I can't think positively about you. I'm the one"
"You're not wrong." Sergeah Atha fast. He doesn't want the girl he loves to keep apologizing for something that isn't a mistake. Under these conditions, it was only natural that Kinara felt fear of being left behind.
"I promise, Ra. I'm not going anywhere. I'll keep you company until things get better, okay?" Atha gently rubbed Kinara's head, then landed a kiss on the top of the girl's head.
The smell of shampoo coming out from the strands of Kinara's hair managed to break through into Atha's sense of smell and make his heart slowly feel full.
The gaping hole created from the long loneliness was slowly shrinking each time he felt Kinara's presence beside him. Without the girl knowing, Atha has become addicted to the presence of her figure.
People might think that Kinara was lucky to be able to date Atharya Danapati, the second richest child conglomerate in Indonesia whose business spread everywhere. Atha was also popular on campus because of his intelligent brain and handsome face. You could say, no one does not know Atha in the campus environment.
But for Atha, it was just the opposite. Atha is lucky to have had Kinara in his life. The girl who was born into a wealthy family but never showed how rich her parents were because she realized the money was not the result of her own efforts. A beautiful girl who is always in style and never tries to show that she is better than anyone. A beautiful girl who could always drive away the loneliness that plagued her.
Atha was lucky to have Kinara. So, she also wanted to make Kinara feel the same way. Don't let Kinara feel alone, because I swear to God, Atha will always be by the girl's side.
"You're not alone, Nara. I'm here with you." Along with the completion of the sentence, it rained a speck. To shed all the pain felt by the hearts of the two sons of man.

I'm sure there's your version of "Atha" who gladly reached out and provided a hug.
But if there isn't, come here, let me be the "Atha" for you.
Please complain, it is not forbidden. But, keep holding on. For little things like a favorite meal from a restaurant, or a favorite soap opera that you watch every night.
