The Borders

The Borders
Section 81 – Lyam and Sword of Darkness

Kashel recalled some time ago, The Border Portal that opened in his office was the work of all of them. Kashel was upset to think about it, he did not want anyone else to be the victim of their crimes.

"We have to make sure the cloaked man doesn't make a mess in this village again Lyam, I'm afraid if he comes back and harms others." Kashel said he could not let it go.

"You don't need to worry about Kashel, the source of her magic power has been annihilated. If he were to attack this village again this time would be tantamount to dying his name." Kashel.

"Master Guardian is right Brother, we're not that weak here. The Dark Spirit that helped him had been annihilated. Now we can protect ourselves if the one who attacked was just him." Marva said sure, they are just not strong with the strong dark storm attack, the rest they believe can protect their own lives.

"Marva take good care of yourself and everyone in the village." Kashel said before he returned home.

"That's my duty, brother, don't worry." Marva said convincingly.

"See you later, we'll meet again." Kashel says goodbye, Liam opens a portal to take them back to where they came from. Kashel waved then disappeared into the portal home.

At that time Kashel returned at the dawn of dawn.

"Well have you returned Kashel?" Chain who seemed to have just returned from his duty on the field was relaxing, it seemed like he was resting himself from exhaustion.

"You're back too." Kashel sat himself in front of Chain. While Liam he immediately went to the second floor where Kashel's room was located.

"You don't look tired at all Kashel." Said Chain leaning himself on the sofa.

"My work went well Chain." Kashel then laid herself on the sofa to relax.

"Have been a strong man." The original Chain said that Kashel scrunched his forehead a sign of being disturbed.

"Hey do you want to feel that you have great power as well as Chain?" tanya Kashel woke up glaring at Chain with her sinister gaze.

"No-no, I don't want to die later. Haha." Chain was nervous from seeing such a Kashel all of a sudden.

"Have let me rest for a while." Kashel said he began to lay himself on the sofa again, still despite the laid back look Kashel also needed a break.

"You're not going back to your room?" ask Chain.

"I'm tired of seeing Liam's face continue." Kashel laid himself against Chain.

"It turns out Kashel can get bored as well." Chain started to relax again with his phone.

"Every day the face I see, I can't be on duty with the rest of my friends without him coming along for a day."

"Can." Kashel woke up to the sound of Lyam standing near them. Chain tries not to care, he wants to be mediocre now at Liam. Consider him his friend too.

Can't, the aura is really creepy. Batin Chain tried to stay brave. Although it took a long time Chain with the other members slowly began to get used to Liam near them.

"Huh? What do you mean." Kashel got up and looked at Liam.

"You can already take care of yourself, so I won't worry if you take on the task of exterminating the Spirit of Darkness not with me right now."

"Seriously?!" Kashel did not believe it, he felt like a newly released child by his parents.

"I'll come quickly if you're really in danger of Kashel." Kashel simply looked at Liam.

"You've been much stronger without me Kashel, I'm sure if it's just weak spirits you'll be able to deal with it yourself." Liam then returned to the second floor.

"Truly a great achievement Kashel, Lyam who never let you go alone. Now set you free."

"Hehe." Kashel was proud.

I can finally be free. I became strong, he thinks. Why could. Kashel's mind did not understand either.

"At least I can have fun not under his watch." Kashel said casually.

"But that guy, Lyam he's the one I can't leave alone right now. Fuckin." Kashel only realized his duties were completely switched.

"Hey Lyam, you said that because now you need me. That means the same." Kashel rambles up to the second floor, chasing after Liam.

"I don't understand what they're talking about." Chain then summoned his guardian spirit to accompany him back then.

.

.

"So, what really happened to you?" kashel asked while he was in his room.

"Nothing, I've always been like that." Answer Liam.

"Don't joke, last night. You, you completely lost control of yourself." Kashel looked at Lyam for an explanation.

"Yes you're right, the current dark energy that appeared was much stronger than before, their presence made my existence disturbed. And if that dark energy strengthens and overwhelms me I won't be able to do anything." Lyam.

Kashel will not run away again, he wants to know all the things why the Guardian needs him so much.

"Why do you need a soul container?" Kashel finally asked, Kashel only knew that he had been made a vessel of the soul to ward off the darkness that was in Lyam.

"The main reason is that you knew it for sure was Kashel, because of the darkness that affected me. I do need you to survive anyway and it should be like that I've been able to survive, but ..."

"But, what?"

"The dark power without me knowing it had instilled darkness in me before I met you, so meeting you would only slow down its spread. But that way I can still balance the dark energy even though in the end I will be completely affected by the darkness.

"Kashel, in that moment only you will retain the light. I'm not gonna side with you."

"You're crazy, why is such a heavy task I'm responsible for. I can't be sure if I can survive or not, Lyam, you know when you're out of control, I'm trying really hard to stay sober?"

"You can do Kashel more than me." Lyam stared out the window.

"What kind of darkness has Lyam instilled in you?" Kashel asked curiously.

"Close your eyes" said Liam, Kashel.

CTIKS!

The flick of the finger made Kashel open his eyes.

"What is this place," Kashel felt a very intense light and dark pressure.

"Come here" Lyam invited Kashel to follow in his footsteps.

"This is my subconscious Kashel, a soulless place and all that is with you now is my mind.

Kashel then saw the Light and darkness that were clinging to each other.

"What-what's that?" Kashel was afraid to approach him. He felt The Borders were being distracted by that energy.

"I can't get any closer." Kashel stopped his steps.

"It was the sword of light and the sword of darkness that was the real Kashel." Liam.

"What?! You, you have a sword of darkness." Kashel.
